"In the first-ever study of metal nanoparticles' interaction with
HIV-1, silver nanoparticles of sizes 1-10nm attached to HIV-1 and
prevented the virus from bonding to host cells. The study, published in
the Journal of Nanotechnology, was a joint project between the
University of Texas, Austin and Mexico Univeristy, Nuevo Leon."

Yeah Mike, that is all very exiting, but what else is that Ag
bonding to? A variation of these Ag nano particles is called
colloidal Silver, a very effective topical disinfectant that kills
everything by immobilizing proteins and sugars. To have that
Ag intravenously administered instead of topically applied....
I dunno and I wouldn't wanna be the guinea pig...
Interesting story tough, and I wish them all the luck.

I predict we'll be seeing some more of the same in the not-so-distant
future.

What was more interesting to me was that science was getting down to
controlling the shape of the nano particles. The experiment generated
particles of all shapes. Eventually they will find shapes that target
specific receptors and that leave other cells unaffected. Silver may or
may not end up being the element of choice but it is a good place to
start given its ability to immobilize proteins and sugars. :-)

Mike said: "The experiment generated particles of all shapes"...
which is why I said "colloidal Ag"... that's been around for centuries.
However, your hope bears mention in that nanotech should/does conc.
on finding/mass producing reproducibly specific shapes and sizes
of nano-particles (NPs). Great efforts and strides are going on now
in/at this. Lot of it is classified for very obvious reasons.... ahahaha...
One of the worries that crops up in "regulatory circles" is that if cheap
and easy ways are being found to cook/up NPs which can cross the
Blood-Brain-Barrier we may/will have a social problem on our hands
that makes the current drug epidemic look like Childs-play.-- But then
OTOH, most of these new technologies go thru' a stage of extreme
hype only to fade away into obscurity... the blaring promos of the
ceramic engine of the 1970 comes to mind... ahahaha... So, seriously,
for investing proposes, meaning to risk your own saving by putting
them on line in/for such ventures, it is not a bad strategy to see if
the project in question has a close corollary that exists in nature.
"She" has been at it since time immemorial and tried out all the tricks
already..... ahahaha... AHAHAHA... or did she forget something?
If so, what was it?... hahaha... (Beware of the Fat-Chance syndrome)
Take care, Mike

You, "Awe *****", have produced some very fine psych-op work here,
you splendid green turn coat, with your outlandish fantasy! This
is a good post on Enviros and Money (which green class 3 lacks).
Hey, "Awe *****", listen. Good Job! This is a particularly elegant post
by which you have demonstrated, again, how (you masquerading
as a) stupid, fanatical and paranoid environmentalists can be, in your
news:1129489583.479531.239700@g43g2000cwa.googlegroups.com
using your action-handle "hanson @shittyplanet.com" this time to post:

AHAHAHA... ahahaha... Hey, "Awe *****" listen. EXCELLENT!
Do keep up the good work in your appearances as turncoat here,
and "Awe *****" remember, that the enviros are playing the same
game like the Taliban, Al Qaida and the Zionists do, all of them
using the same great lies of yore. ---- Only the color has changed.
= (A) Environmentalism is Communism in Green...
= (B) Environmentalism is Nazism in Green...
= (C) Environmentalism makes the Poor poorer and the Rich richer.

"Awe *****" remember also the modern, attributal definitions of
enviro classifications:
========= enviro Class (1) --- the Green *****(s):
....are the ones who advocate, promote, support, legalize,
institute and extort the permit charges, the user fees, the
enviro surtaxes and the CO2/Carbon tax, all reflected in
HIGHER PRICES of goods and services!, ...and being
responsible for much of the OUT-SOURCING!
========= enviro Class (2) -- the Green turd(s):
.... are the ones who are recipients and beneficiaries from
the lootings of (1), directly or indirectly.
========= enviro Class (3) -- the Little green idiot(s):
... are the unpaid, well-meaning ones who think they do
something for the "environment", when in fact they are only
the enablers and facilitators for (2) who are harvesting the
green $$$ that (1) has extorted.

"Awe *****" is a new enviro turn-coat, now an agent provocateur, a
stooge & shill in the pay of Big Oil and other Anti-environmental fat
cats and is posting as "Awe *****" under many various handles like:

Melchizedek@USA.com> aka "Milkshisdick" aka
RayLopez99@evilfucker.com aka
sciencecop@sbcglobal.net aka
GayLopez69@sbcglobal.net aka

Hanson@Shittyplanet.com aka
hanson @shittyplanet.com aka
gods-fist@sbcglobal.net aka
istjohn@sbcglobal.net aka
bush_auschwitz@sbcglobal.net aka "Awe *****"

all these and more are the one and same poster: "Awe *****".

Good covert work, "Awe *****",... and thanks for the laughs...
