superconductivity killer's silver lining
It zeroed in on lead, an ordinary superconductor. However, they knew it
would become a stronly correlated system if they fabricated it in
extremely thin layers--only several atoms thick--in which the atoms
assumed a disorderly, noncrystalline atomic arrangement. The
researchers then deposited silver on lead films to serve as the
neighboring metal.
The team found that the temperatures at which the lead layers
became superconducting increased ever so slightly as the silver
overlayer increased to a thickness of 0.26 nanometer. That minute
change in critical temperature-- from about 1.6 Kelvins to just over
1.8 K-- signified that the lead film had become a better
superconductor.
When the layers of either metal became too thick, the conventional
proximity effect took over, and the lead's critical temperature
declined.

It was this article in year 2002 that convinced me that
Superconductivity was not a quantum phenomenon. I dropped my claim that
photon carriers of EM became neutrino carriers and thus the absence of
friction in the material. Upon this news of 11May02 I thence was
convinced that superconductivity was a purely regular Classical
Newtonian and Maxwellian phenomenom. In year 2002 after this report I
postulated that superconductivity was Electropositive coupled with
Electronegative push and pull coupled with Conduction Band theory of the
metallicbond of a loose electron.
Now in the year 2005 I am ready to state the math Formula for
Superconductivity as a Coulomb look-alike formula that has temperature
in the numerator and which is modeled after the Ideal Gas Law of PV=
nRT.
I combine Coulomb law of C = q1xq2xRxT/ d^2 with P = nxRxT/V
only V can be designated as d^3, so P = nxRxT/d^3
So in this scheme Pressure becomes Force.
So in Superconductivity we have the coupled working of Force and
Pressure, both having a temperature term in numerator.
And where Superconductivity is purely a classical Newtonian and
Maxwellian phenomenon. The BCS theory is a total fakery.
However, Superconductivity is not a simple physics but a very complex
and multifactor theory. To name just 6 complex factors:
(1) electronegative atoms
(2) electropositive atoms
(3) unit cell distance
(4) Kelvin temperature
(5) Conduction Band metallic-bond electrons
(6) geometrical array of atoms
It was this 11May report that converted my mind on superconductivity as
a neutrino QM effect to that of a Maxwell theory effect. Because you
cannot alter Tc by merely sandwiching lead and silver. But that boost in
Tc is explained as a Maxwell enhancement.
I take issue with P Weiss et. al explanation above of why the Tc was
boosted from 1.6K to 1.8K. I say the boost was caused because there is a
difference in electropositivity and electronegativity of lead and
silver. The Tc of pure lead is increased as you increase the "favoring"
of the 6 factors I have listed above.
It appears that P. Weiss et al explanation is grounded in the BCS theory
of electron pairing.
The beautiful thing about this report is that it allows me to plugg
numbers into a Coulomb like formula for Superconductivity:
Superconductivity = (electropositive atom1 + electronegative atom1)
multiplied over all Electronegativites of all the atoms in a unit cell
multiply R
multiply Temperature all divided by unit cell distance squared
Using the Ideal Gas Law of P = nRT/V
So in a sense, what P. Weiss et al found was a boost in pressure in the
unit cell of lead atoms by sandwiching silver. A boost in pressure is
akin to a boost in the temperature. So the geometry of the unit cell was
favored by adding the silver and the electronegativity was favored.
In this manner we can envision a superconductor unit cell as some
orderly arrangement of the Ideal Gas Law where the lead and silver atoms
are ordered gas atoms and superconductivity as the pressure inside that
cell to move electrons through the cell.
