Object: Table For Specific Stiffness & Specific Strength For Metals ?
Hello,
Beat the bushes pretty well on Google, etc., but just can't seem to find any
good tables showing Specific Stiffness and Specific Strength for various
metals.
Must be some, somewhere.
Anyone know a good link for ?
Thanks,
B.

Hello,

Beat the bushes pretty well on Google, etc., but just can't seem to find

any

good tables showing Specific Stiffness and Specific Strength for various
metals.

Must be some, somewhere.

Google Modulus of Elasticity
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=modulus+of+elasticity+metals&meta=
eg
http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/young-modulus-d_773.html
Whole books are written on strength of materials. Not easy to make a simple
table do everything.
