While not actually teleporting matter from place to place
as in Star Trek, physicists have now plucked a quantum
property from one atom and transmitted it to another. That

Nature, moves scientists nearer to building a class of
so-called quantum computers that's expected to be
astonishingly speedy at certain tasks, such as scouring
databases for specific information.

Nonlocality in quantum theory is the deepest perspective of the
universe based on singularity. And so, instant connections cannot be
repeated again in the labs. Consequently, computers are already
quantum computers, quantum principles cannot be applied again in the
labs for quantum computers.

Trouble with teleportaion is that nonlocal quantum perspective is
being tried in local classical perspective of labs. The paradoxes, EPR
etc, arise precisely due to this reason. Consequently, instant
connections cannot even be expected in the labs. Then, what about
quantum computers?
