Most Windows XP users who have installed SP2 and are using internet explorer
would have the OCX blocked by default. They *may* allow it, but I would
always recommend people to move away from sites that demand installation of
OCXs unless you have confidence in the owners of the site and what the OCX
is supposed to do. . .
Quite apart from that, users of other browsers would not be able to access
the OCX.
Is it a vital part of the site, or is it just a cool demo/app/toy to get
visitors interested ? if the latter, move it off the homepage, because it is
more likely to turn people away.
By the way, I didn't allow the OCX to install.
