You have talked about Newtonian mechanics. Not about
Newtonian spacetime.

Excuse me? Newtonian mechanics is the consequence of
newtonian (i.e. galilean invariant) spacetime.

No. There can be very different theories in Newtonian
spacetime.

You can obfuscate the facts all you like, but the bottom
line is that if time is absolute, the theory is galilean and
c = \infty. > > Period.

"Time" has different meanings...

$$ ABSOLUTE is WHY ..the REASON for ERROR-bars.
$$ TiME is ABSOLUTELY simultaneous ..at ONCE, but "timing" isN'T.
$$ TiME is ABSOLUTELY simultaneous .."timing" caN'T emulate TiME.
$$ TiME is one BiG REASON for LAB error-bars. "Timing" OUT a bit.
$$ TiME is The BiG TiC. ```Brian A M Stuckless, Ph.T (Tivity).
