Object: The Effects of Collisions
I was in a car accident almost a year ago where my car was not damaged
badly yet I have been in much pain. I have a cavalier and the other
car was a Daewoo, not too much bigger than mines. The Daewoo's
damages were estimated to be around 3000 where mines was only 600.
The insurance company told me that because my car's damages were so
little, that they wouldnt pay me much for pain and suffering. Now I
know that maybe all the force created went inside the car instead on
the outside of the car. Can someone explain to me why I am in so much
pain with so little car damages. Thanx

Sure.
Nobody wants to part with money. Courts are there to resolve the issue.

You need a lawyer. I was once called as an expert witness in a similar
car accident. Seems the insurance company didn't know any physics.

They know physics, they pretend not to. Like you, really.

There's lots of reasons as to why you would be in pain now, rather than
at the time of the accident, in spite of the fact that your car had
little visible damage. I would recommend seeing a doctor to find out
what is wrong physically, and based on that, an attorney.
I suspect that recovering additional damages from the insurance compnay
is going to be a tough fight.

Where are your injuries?
Did you see a doctor?
Wearing a seatbelt?
Humans can be damaged without the car sustaining any damage.
Please give the particulars.
