Object: The Emission of Photons
Atomic nuclei emit photons, and specific entropy measures the ratio of
photons per baryon (or the ratio of photons per proton). I am
wondering. How and why atomic nuclei emit photons? And what changes
inside an atomic nucleus when it emits a photon? For example, is
something inside the atomic nucleus converted into a photon?

All charged particles emit photons, especially when there is a lower
energy state available for occupation.

And what changes
inside an atomic nucleus when it emits a photon?

The energy state of the nucleon that emitted it. This also has
collective effects on the other nucleons, of course. It can be modeled
in a way analogous to the way electrons in atoms emit photons.

For example, is
something inside the atomic nucleus converted into a photon?

Depends on the process. Sometimes it's just binding energy.

Really? So if the electron is in the ground state, it is not a charged

Oh... I see, it is the NUCLEON that emits photons... got it...

Yes, indeed. It is called nuclear gamma decay. Have you not heard of
it?

You don't know what the ground state is? Ah, that's right, you designed
flight simulators. You didn't need to know any quantum mechanics for
that.

What's the ground state for a nucleon, *****?
Tell us all what isn't, why don't you?
The ground state is not in any way responsible for the failure of the French
to repel the Germans at the Maginot Line during WWII. Nor is the ground
state responsible for the recent yeti sightings outside the Vatican, or for
the unfortunate enslavement of the Nabisco Inc. factory employees by a rogue
hamster insurrectionist group. Furthermore, it is not responsible for the
loss of one or more of the following, which may possibly occur as the result
of exposing one's self to the dogmatic and dangerously subversive statements
made within: life, limb, vision, Francois Mitterand, hearing, taste, smell,
touch, thumb, Aunt Mildred, citizenship, spleen, bedrock, cloves, I Love
Lucy reruns, toaster, pine derby racer, toy duck, antelope, horseradish,
prosthetic ankle, double-cheeseburger, tin foil, limestone,
watermelon-scented air freshner, sanity, paprika, German to Pig Latin
dictionary, dish towel, pet Chihuahua, pogo stick, Golf Digest subscription,
floor tile, upper torso or halibut.

Fine, then I'll do the search for you.
The nuclear shell model was the basis for a Nobel Prize in physics, by
the way.

and another short trip to wrong parrot PD!!
here is a little quote from theone you suggested
i needed jsut afew sentences toread
in order to be sure those people have no ***** idea about waht they are
talking
quote:
---The evidence for a kind of shell structure and a limited number of
allowed energy states suggests that a nucleon moves in some kind of
effective potential well created by the forces of all the other
nucleons. This leads to energy quantization
end of quote
---------------
if you call it knowledge
you are a fucker sucker !!
and Ghosh!1
to get a Nobel for it ????!!!!!!
it seesm that the 'friend brings a friens
is govern that Nobel Bussiness
while the people who decide about the prize
are sucker victims
------------------
there is no rotating all around nuclear orbits
thje orbits are sory of beams that ARE DIRECTED ONLY TO SOME DIRECTION
etc etc
so ignorance and crookedness is ruling the tower !!!
just a tip for you toget out of that sticky muss
tha 'modern scince is in without a hope to get out
the only way to get out of all that imposible entanglement is the idea
of
Chaine of orbitals ' !!
that is the only way i can see 'law and order in that mess
and i did law in order in my model that you can see some of it in my
site
if you and others dont get it now
someone else will beat you in the race (it might be a chineese one
as it happence now every where !!)
and you wil spend the rest of your life with nonsense
anyway dont worry
your salery as a teacher is ensured !! ..........
by raising another generations of suckers no need for scruples

| All charged particles emit photons, especially when there is a lower
| energy state available for occupation.

Really? So if the electron is in the ground state, it is not a charged
particle?

|
| > And what changes

| The energy state of the nucleon that emitted it.

Oh... I see, it is the NUCLEON that emits photons... got it...

Yes, indeed. It is called nuclear gamma decay. Have you not heard of
it?

Nuclear photons, huh?

| This also has
| collective effects on the other nucleons, of course. It can be modeled
| in a way analogous to the way electrons in atoms emit photons.

|
| PD

----------------------------
there is a principal similarity between electron orbitals and nuclear
orbitals
it is only a matter of size and intensity of matter
see my
'chain of orbitals' idea
it is not
the nuc here and the electron 'far away there'
is is a chin of orbitals

According to the Galaxy Model
http://users.accesscomm.ca/john/
galaxies and atoms are the same thing at
different size levels.
Galaxies develope 'accretion discs' at the poles
of the magnetic fields of their 'black holes'.
(These black holes are analogous to the protons
of atoms- they are nothing but intense spin.)
The material of burnt-out stars, which is mostly neutrons,
falls into the 'BH' and is spun back up into charged
plasma, which is pushed back out the magnetic poles
and becomes stars again.
Other energy in the form of photons is also captured by
the 'BH' and spun back up, but, having different spin,
it accretes at the poles until enough collects and
it is given off as a pair of Quasars. In the atom, this is
equivalent to a pair of photons.

Wow. What an incredible load of crap! So
who's the genius behind the 'Galaxy Model'?
