The New Business of Einstein's Cult |
There have not been glorious confirmations of Einstein's relativity
lately. Rather, after 100 years of fierce extraction of money from the
theory's truth, Einstein's cult seems to have entered a century of
fierce extraction of money from the theory's falsehood:

Nor atomic theory, nor the theory of gases. Somethings are so well
established, there's no need to continually reaffirm them.

Every test of GR ever done was an attempt
to prove 'the theory's falsehood'.
If an experiment hasn't got the potential to
falsify GR, it is no test of GR.
So when designing an experiment, you must try to find
an aspect of GR which isn't tested before (or isn't
tested with small enough error bars before), and of
course you must design the experiment such that it
is capable of proving GR wrong - if it is.
That is, you must try to prove 'the theory's falsehood'.
How would you design an experiment with the intent
to prove 'the theory's truth'?
Test something which is thoroughly tested before?
Such an experiment has never been founded.
And no scientist would bother to do it.
