time for USA & Europe to stop jawboning about Global Warming and DO SOMETHING-- like thistle seeding the atmosphere |
I was not aware that this summer is the alltime breaking of new highs
in the USA. Where the last half of the month of July was solid 100
degree or more for continental USA.
I personally have experienced a drought this year that is almost "no
rainfall for the entire summer". That is something I do not want to
repeat for future years. Where I drop most everything to battle a
drought.
I think the farm community of the USA should get together, now, and
demand of our politicians to ** do something**.
I propose that every airplane emit thistle seed in the apogee of their
flight path and put thistle seed into the atmosphere to reflect
sunlight. Reflect so much sunlight that we achieve a Pinatubo Effect of
1992-3 where our summer was very nice and cool and wet. We use 1992-3
as the model year which we seek to repeat.
Mr. Crutzen of ozone Nobel prize fame is reportedly interested in
sulfur gases delivered by hot air balloons into the atmosphere as a
solution to global-warming.
I propose thistle seed delivered by airplanes in apogee of flight.
The important thing is that we stop the yakkity yak jawboning and
actually do something. Where Mr. Blair stops his jawboning and tells
the British scientists to do one or the other. To do the thistle seed
airplane project or do the Crutzen sulfur gas in balloons. Instead of
thistle seed, perhaps ground up milled paper fibers mimiking thistle
seed.
And the farmers of the USA, it is time to get together and demand our
Senators and Congress to get up and out of their laziness and call for
ACTION on global warming.
I do not like spending the entire summer battling a drought, and I am
sure the farmers across the USA are not happy with Global Warming
either. So unless the farmers get together and demand the politicians
to do something, the farmers are not going to have a farm but a dust
bowl. Your livelihood is threatened by global-warming and the farmers
should get together and demand action by politicians.
My proposal is quite simple and easy. We fill the cargo haul of
airplanes with something like thistle seed or crushed white paper
fibers and have the airplanes release these reflective material in the
apogee of their flightpath. We create a Pinatubo like cloud in the
atmosphere that promises to cool Earth and to form more rainfall over
the land. We try to create what the year 1992-3 was when Pinatubo
formed our finest summer in the living memory.
Time of yakkity yak jawboning of Mr. Blair is over with. It is time now
to do something.
Farmers, we need your help to move the politicians. Your own farming is
at stake.

It is best they stay up there as long as possible. Recently it was
reported that smog of the 1970s and 1980s reduced global warming but
that with cleaner air in the cities have speeded up global warming.
By putting thistle seed or paper-fiber into the air, I simply replace
dirt and pollutants of the 1970s with thistle seed.
Apparently you never had the experience of being near a cottonwood tree
in summer when it floats its seeds in the air and they parachute all
around.
Anyway, the debate of whether global warming is real or not was ended
and finished with before Kyoto ever held a meeting. The debate is over
with. What is on the agenda now is to solve it by building a Earth Air
Conditioner.
We should start emitting thistle seed or paper-fiber by airplanes in
the apogee of flightpath.
By doing so, we can control yearly temperatures and rainfall. We can
have every summer approach the summer of 1992-3 where it was cool and
it was wet.
The debate is over with. Now we act and do things. We add thistle seed
into the sky to where we have a cool climate and a wet one. Some years
we may adjust it to where we induce a very cold winter just to pack
more ice into the poles.
We have Airbus and Boeing redesigning their aircraft so that it is easy
to emit the thistle seed and to carry a maximum load of thistle seed.
I have estimated that a state the size of Kansas or Afghanistan can
supply the world with the needed thistle seed. And to pay them
handsomely for the seed. Even lift poor countries in Africa out of
poverty by buying thistle seed from them at a international set price.
So every wins, because everyone is more comfortable and plants not
suffer from increasing droughts.

Doesn't matter; airplanes don't have apogee.

Well, with a worldwide legislation that requires all aircraft to emit
thistle seed in their flightpath, we require the flightpath to have a
apogee-moment in that flightpath. Commercial aircraft would announce to
the passengers "We are now going to apogee and release thistle seed for
the next 5 minutes"
But if this Air Conditioner of Earth works well, which I think it will
given improvements, I foresee a future day when we can influence wars
on Earth. Such as the present day Iraq and Lebanon wars. Where we fly
extra trips over Iraq and Lebanon and cloud seed the skys to the point
where we have almost constant rain on Lebanon and Iraq. It is much
harder to send rockets in rain; plant mines in Iraq and to make war
with a constant steady rain. But I have to be careful here, because if
I can produce a constant steady rain, that some groups may start
fighting just to get their clouds seeded to rain.
But, yes, with a Earth Air Conditioner it is highly likely that thistle
seed into airplane flightpath apogee could bring enormous amounts of
rain to present day desert climates. Maybe the reason desert people are
so fanatical is because it seldom rains making their pyschology
different from people who live in climates where rain is ample. So that
if I bring rain to the Middle East in large quantity, perhaps for the
first time, those people will want to do something better in life than
to kill one another.

Oh, wonderful. Now you want every passenger airliner to morph into the
"Vomit Comet" for 5 minutes midflight. What, do you own stock in an
airsickness bag company? I think anybody that has an idea this stupid
should be sentenced to 6 months mopping up the prandial resurgence that his
idea is guaranteed to create.
Besides, this ain't baseball...I don't think the war will be called on
account of rain. Heck, we couldn't even get it called for lack of real
leadership!

Very unlikely. There is a strong correlation between atmospheric CO2
and global temperature:
http://www.grida.no/climate/vital/02.htm
http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2005/11/650000-years-of-greenhouse-gas-concentrations/
Atmospheric CO2 is increasing dramatically in recent years:
http://cdiac.ornl.gov/ftp/maunaloa-co2/maunaloa.co2
In fact, the rate of increase is increasing, try graphing the data in
the link above.
The conclusions anyone might draw from just that data alone are stark
and uncompromising.
