"UNITED 93" -- Fraud, Fiction and Far From Factual |
<
I see that "United 93 - the movie - will make its big screen
debut Friday,
then be featured on Larry King Live Friday night, so let me say THIS
about
THAT:
<
The movie is billed as an honest, fact-based account of the events
aboard hijacked
Boeing 757 jet Flight 93 on 9/11/01..
<
The truth is, it's sheer fiction.
<
The "Rally 'Round the Flag" incident never happened.
<
Flight 93 didn't "crash" near Shanksville, Pa. It was shot to
smithereens by
a white U.S. military jet, with debris being spread five to eight miles
distance.
That's what Russian radio and TV told their listeners the day of 911,
citing
their information from one of their satellites
<
And the 40 passengers -- most fictional -- and crew didn't perish
when it
was struck by a missile simply because there was no one aboard. It was
a drone, poiloted by remote control from from the ground.
What happened to the folks who allegedly "died" in the crash is the
real mystery.
Hell, they might still be alive -- bunkered away somewhere -- or they
may be
at the bottom of the Atlantic.
<
The "Flight 93" fiasco was a ploy to add to the propoganda the Bush
administration
dished out in heaping doses about 911, blaming 19 terrorists (a
half-dozen still alive)
and Osama bin Laden.
<
The government sure made it seem believeable - the
now-you-see-them-now-you-don't
jets that kamikazied the Twin Towers, the orchestrated demolition of
both buildings, the Pentagon fiasco and all the cell phone calls,
especially by Barbara Olson and Mark Bingham (to mention just two of
those supposedly dozen or more cell phone calls from Flight 93).
Bingham's sister took a cell phone call from her brother and
excitedly told him that his mother was right near the phone and
anxiously wanted to speak to him.
When Mom excitedly took the phone and said, "Hello, Mark!" he
responded matter-of-factly: "Hello, this is Mark BINGHAM."
Even his mother agreed it was rather strange, and in all likelihood it
was a fradulent tape
recording. Same for the "voice" of a few other callers aboard, some of
which were hardly audible
<
The problem, back on Sept, 11, 2001, is that it was relatively
impossible to make
a telephone call using a cell phone. They couldn't transmit clearly
- if at all --
from a plane high in the sky traveling at more than 500 mph.
<
"United 93" writer/director Paul Greenglass is quoted as saying, as he
got deeper into the making of the fictional movie, that he began to
feel "haunted by the film's central struggle between a band of
suicidal religious fantatics and a group of everyday people thrown
together by circumstance. That struggle at the controls of the airplane
is really a struggle for our world today."
<
What utter crap!
<
Later Greengrass adds:
<
"We're only at the beginning of our understanding of the events of
911. But I think we've got to make sense of it. Everything for the
last five years steams from it.
<
"Whether you agree or disagree with the war in Iraq, or whehther
you're worrried about he erosion of civil libertieis or you're not,
it all goes back to that morning," he continued.
<
"To me, the job of this film is to take us back to that morning and
create a responsible mature reasonable narrative of what happened on
that day to see what it tells us about
where we are today."
<
While making "United 93." Greenglass relied mainly on cell phone
calls from passengers
and crew. He felt, by doing so, he would be able to create a
minute-by-minute breakdown
of events aboard Flight 93.
<
Alas, "United 93" isn't an attempt at remembering history the way
it happened. It's
a sad-sack movie that insults the intelligence of everyone who knows
who was
responsible - certainly NOT terrorists -- and why 911 occurred: to
open wide
the floodgates for the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq and the
inky-black but
pure gold oil that they felt assured would be the grand prize.

At that time there were NO women flying at that level.

The fact is: Hillary never wanted to be an Astronaut and only mentions

Gosh, you never mentioned you knew her when she was a little girl.

This is from http://userpages.aug.com/captbarb/astronauts.html
History tells us that in 1963 Cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova was the
first Russian woman in space and that in 1983 Dr. Sally Ride became the
first American woman in orbit.
But as is typical when it comes to the accomplishments of women, a
chapter is missing in the story of the "space race." That chapter is
"The Mercury 13". Before we note the military women who are currently
with NASA as astronauts, let's take a look at what happened in the
early '60s.
When NASA began training the Mercury astronauts, and before the Soviets
made Valentina Tereshkova the first woman to go into space, 13 American
women had qualified for astronaut duty. In late 1959 a project cloaked
in secrecy began to develop at the Lovelace Clinic in Albuquerque, New
Mexico. Twenty five of the nation's top women pilots were selected to
participate in it. Jerrie Cobb was the first woman pilot selected to
report to the Lovelace Clinic for Phase One of the tests. When she
reported for astronaut training Jerrie Cobb had logged over 10,000
flight hours (John Glenn had only 5,000 and Scott Carpenter 2,900.) She
went through the exact rigorous testing as male astronaut candidates.
Cobb was studied, tested, prodded, tilted, spun, exhausted with
excercise, and put in sensory depravation for over ten hours.
Her test results were so extraordinary, she was sent to the Naval
School of Aviation at Pensacola for Phase II of the program, and the
other 25 women began Phase I testing.
Twelve of these women, as well as Jerrie Cobb, came through with
exceptional test results and were selected - and sworn to secrecy - to
become The Mercury 13.
They were:
Rhea Allison, Jane Hart, Mary Wallace Funk (known as Wally), Jean
Hixson, Myrtle 'K" Cagle, Irene Leverton, Sara Ratley, Jan and Marion
Dietrich (twin sisters) , Gene Nora Jessen, 'B' Steadman and Gerry
Sloan Truhill.
As the women waited for the next phase of their training, suddenly,
without warning, and without explanation, in July 1961, NASA cancelled
all further testing of women. The Mercury 13 women were unable to get
answers from NASA - even though these women had all proved to be more
than suitable for space flight. In fact studies showed that women were
less prone to heart attacks and less vulnerable to loneliness, cold,
heat, pain and noise. The fact that women weighed less was in itself
cost effective since the cost to send anything in orbit was roughly
$1,000 per pound. A Congressional subcommittee met in July of 1962 to
review the scenario of women being denied space travel. NASA responded
with a Catch 22 loophole - they used the fact that the female trainees
had never gone through the jet-aircraft testing at Edwards Air Force
base. The catch was that women were not yet eligible for jet-pilot
training programs - and they wouldn't be allowed in until 1973.
It's doubtful that anyone around today knows the real reasons women
were denied space travel in the '60s - some will hide behind the
"public opinion theory", others will say that the women were too good,
and the usual bureaucratic bilge will be found in aging reports.
What we do know is that thirteen exceptional women pilots were denied
the chance to participate in the space program in 1961 !!
Ironically, thirty four years later, seven of the Mercury 13 witnessed
America's first woman pilot astronaut, Col. Eileen Collins launch at
Cape Kennedy on February 3, 1995. Col. Collins was the pilot on STS-63
Discovery.
John Glenn returned to space at age 76.
Well wouldn't it be nice if NASA would extend the same invitation to
Jerrie Cobb, who is still flying!!

Yes, it would be a fine gesture.
She would love it as well. I'll bet she is still quite fit as well.

Thanks for responding to the post. I notice george "no women flying at
that level" never bothered. (Maybe there were too many words!)

I believe it because it's exactly what happened. When an aluminum plane
hits a reinforced concrete wal, the plane disintegrates. This isn't a
Bugs Bunny cartoon. You aren't going to see a perfect outline of an
airplane in the wall.

1. To become reduced to components, fragments, or particles.
And you simple believe that because it answers all the other questions
you don't want to ask, right?
I believe it because it's exactly what happened. When an aluminum plane
hits a reinforced concrete wal, the plane disintegrates. This isn't a
Bugs Bunny cartoon. You aren't going to see a perfect outline of an
airplane in the wall.
Where did the engines go?
One went into the building and the other didn't.
Well, good. Let's see some documentation on that, OK.
Are you telling me that even the TAIL
ASSEMBLY broke up into fragments smaller than a baseball?
Some of it did. There is no uniformity to the size of the debris.
But you said earlier there was nothing left that couldn't fit in one's
hand.

You would be surprised what's possible. Builders routinely nail wood to
thick steel girders by firing the nails right through the steel.
Well, we have another fellow here who says the plane hit the wall and
disintegrated thoroughly.

I don't care what that site asserts concerning the motives or planners

the only question is whether Zepp is drinking again.
"I *used* to have a big problem with controlling wolvish
behaviour; things like wanting to curl up my lips and snarl
on crowded buses, or bite people that bump into me...
Didn't usually DO it, but I went through merry hell trying
NOT to. Nowadays I don't drink booze any more, and that's
made quite a difference. Drink near-beer (Kaliber, for
preference), and I stay out of trouble a lot better!
<toothy embarrassed grin> Also, just plain getting older
and a bit mellower as I go along... Been about seventeen
years or so since the last time I got popped for
drunk-and-disorderly! ;-)"
