Hi Myth,
What does it create a vortex in superconductor?
A vortex in a superconductor, i.e. a topological discontinuity in the
superconducting wavefunction, lets one quantum of magnetic flux
through. they are created by applying a magnetic field, and in type II
superconductors they exist quite stably at low densities.
