Water questions? |
Is the amount of water constant or slowly diminishing on earth?
How stable water is, that is breaking to oxygen and hydrogen
probability and vice versa does oxygen and hydrogen spontaneously
make water very easily?
Is oxygen or hydrogen escaping from earth?
If so when is all gone?

Volcanism tends to replace what might bleed off the atmosphere.
Way more important is the fact that the solar output is
increasing and 500-1000 million years it will be too hot for
oceans and lakes.
Of course, with the help of asteroid encounters (properly
engineered) we could move the Earth's orbit out a centimeter every
600 years or so... but we won't be here anyway, so don't worry
about it.
