Object: WATER REFLECTS IMAGES!!!!!
i have a doubt and this group contains some very intelligent ppl
(unlike uncle stooopid) who may not mind giving good polite, sensible
replies.
if there is some water spilled on the road, we can see reflections on
it...it cant be total internal reflection as it defies the
necessities...what is it?
comments and ideas are welcome.
thanx for reading

It's just reflection (ordinary reflection). A transparent medium like
water both reflects and refracts at its boundaries. Water spilled on a
road reflects sunlight and also refracts any light from the asphalt
below the puddle. It just reflects. Total internal reflection is not
involved here (you're right). Don't be surprised if you see
reflections AND refractions on a glass block so what's the entire
point about this question??

light is made up of waves just like sound. so just like sound
reflecting off the boundary between water and air light reflects off
the boundary between air and water. some light goes into the water and
is refracted and bent and then reflects off the water bitumen boundary.

would defie conservation,,is what it is.
If glass is thick enouph light wount make it threw.
Its not reflected.
The definition of reflected is knetic energy conveted to potenutal
energy then back to knetic energy . Thats not what light does.
The ball reflected ,,was conveterted 2 times and lost energy each
time...and left the wall going slower.
Photons fall into orbit to remain at the same speed and ejject from the
orbit to remain at the same speed and the speed never changes.
Some of the exchange was heat lost energy lost.
At this point of learning you nead to understand lght has no potenutal
or knetic energy.
its BOATH WAVE AND PARTICAL..
wavicals.
Photons neutrons electrons photons and evrything else is the same energy
in diferant amounts . We call an amount of energy a photon , if it was
1 million times biggger call it the nucleus
