Object: Well, it finally happened....
Begin official message from The FTL Working Group- 092604
It was only a matter of time, I suppose...
My website , allocations.cc, was finally pulled down. Over the past few
years, I have watched with bemusement as my website- the official
communications arm of the FTL Working Group- was regularly ripped by various
government and educational facilities. The first couple years, no one in any
important capacity probably took what I was attempting to teach the world
seriously, but I knew that over the past 8 months, that had changed.
Someone, probably a bright young lad hired by a research operation - began
to take serious notice of my work. He earnestly began to ask the right
questions, and I gladly replied to his e-mails. Of course I knew full well
what was going on - I was monitoring the attempt they were making at
creating their own quantum information transfer device all along, and,
admittedly was very impressed by the high level intellect being devoted to
their project. Also, my position all along has been government and military
friendly. I think their is room for all, including civilians and if
historical precedent is any guide, securing the device for only military
development would not be a good thing - and that almost happened to radio in
the early 20th century, by the way. Limiting superluminal communications in
the same manner will only serve to stifle potential development. (Imagine
where the field of radio would be today if the congress had actually
succeeded in outlawing AM radio communications...yech!)
Early this month, the government boys finally managed to build a *very
crude* quantum receiver to which they could hear the simple tonal
modulations they had been broadcasting for over a year. It was the
equivalent of a gen 2 receiver only on good days, but..... if you can make a
tone, you can send code. Faster than light. Instantaneously across any
distance, with no interference. Of course, I was listening to all this as it
was going on. One of the messages their op sent in Morse was: "Holy *****
this is working/ tell Murdoch"
Then my web site disappeared. Sigh. Now they are using binary telemetry, and
sending at higher rates, but with a very large error rate. In some cases
they are sending short packets thousands of times before they connect. They
have a lot to learn. My 'friend' reports to me that many of his superiors
are still in a state of deep shock and denial over all this. I told him I
would perhaps help them if I get my site put back up... he describes some of
the eggheads looking as if they are in a state of sheer panic as the
realization sets in... and I am telling him not to worry. But for anyone
thinking I might disappear next, not to worry. I am still 20 years ahead of
them, and am willing to help them informally, as long as the government
treats it like they do radio. They seem happy with this, for now.
Anyway, though I am still around, I have no idea how long it will take to
put up a new web site. If you were one of the lucky ones to have ripped the
site and have a copy tucked safely away on a floppy disk, guard it well for
who knows what the future holds? To all my friends over the years, both

does this interest anybody ?
i don't know anything about the following quote other than i believe it is
from a BBC Televison programme called Horizon (regarding time-travel),
"Another broken taboo* concerns sending messages faster than light. Breaking
the light speed barrier is totally forbidden by Einstein, and all who
believe in him, for moving beyond it would make time stand still. But that
has not stopped a German Time Lord, physicist Gunter Nimtz, transmitting
Mozart's 40th Symphony across his lab at 4.7 times the speed of light.
Impossible, yes, but demonstrated on screen in HORIZON."
*regarding the theoretical impossibiltiy of time-travel, that is.
FTL and lots of other stuff seems to be possible...
also, i remember a program regarding the early pico-, or maybe,
femto-seconds of the universe.
it is said by some physicists that light speed can't be absolute, otherwise
the big-bang theory just hold, ie, the theoretical structure of the universe
as we know it could not be otherwise.

Sorry, but the reality doesn't live up to the billing.

Since when do feds need to be nice?
But, I think the crisis will soon be over. Feds aren't nice, but they are
still reasonable... they can't erase my site from every logfile and archive
on earth, they will not interfere when I reestablish my site, since I own
the domain. But they do want me to keep it hosted as a freebie probably
because of all the limitations imposed on such sites... but gotta find a new
computer. They spooked the old ones pretty good ;)
To show what a nice guy I am, I told them, under strict conditions of
non-disclosure, how to build a gen 3 quantum receiver - which they did in
just under 4 hours! I never did see a government agency move *so* effing
fast! I think, they are thinking they don't need me anymore...sure. Ahh, its
been a busy day...

Since you website is being hosted out of the Cocos Islands in the
Indian Ocean off of Indonesia (.cc), about as far offshore as you
could get it, don't you think that it's a little out of the Feds
jurisdiction? Sabotaging your site would have to be a CIA black bag
operation! Do you really think you are that important?
More likely your site going off line was caused by the imcompetence of
the Islanders trying to manage this high tech operation. Or else some
local typhoon blew a coconut tree down over their communication lines.
I can't imagine why you are posting all this information about your
invention on the web in the first place. If I had such a working
model as you claim you do, I would be keeping it a complete secret.
The only people I would have to tell about it would be select
investors who would beat down my door once they realized the potential
of such a fundamental discovery.
Governments and large corporations would much rather steal your ideas
than pay you for them. The history of inventions is full for such
instances. I certainly wouldn't share with the government the
principles that make my invention work without a prearranged agreement
for payment.
If you really have an FTL radio, what you need is investors so you can
perfect it and find uses for it. You don't need a lot of true
believers that you pick up on the web.
Now of course if you really don't have a working model, and just want
to get attention for yourself and feel important, then I understand
perfectly!

If the feds were really conspiring against you, you'd be in prison already or
mysteriously missing.. there are many many many laws on the books that they can
nail you with, the irs code alone allows them to pretty much make up what they
want if they have you in their sights.. you could simply disappear and nobody
would be able to link the crime to "them.."

Listen, if the Feds were involved here you would be in no doubt about
it. They do not do things piecemeal, if they wanted to shut you up they
would not only have pulled your website they would have pulled your net
connection too. If they were involved you would be either very very
stupid or very very brave in posting on a public forum about it.
Far more likely, and believable, that your subs fell behind, or the
web host has a server crash or whatever.
There's no Feds involved here...

Yeah, no body is panicking over anything yet...since what I put on my site
has been there for so long is will never be able to be totally eradicated
from everyone's archives. As far as not paying the bill, it was a free
site... you 've got a point though. If I were a paying customer I guess it
would have taken much more to spook the ISP to drop me...

government and educational facilities.

To all my friends over the years, both
here and 'elsewhere' wish me luck, and to my detractors - better not start
dancing in the streets just yet fellows :)

I will try to post developments as they occur!

Sorry to here about your site going down Greysky and hope you
are able to get another up and running. Did you ever think perhaps it
was just a computer nerd that might have sent your site a virus or your
site provider got some random complaints and shut it down? I know I
visited your site in the past and there was always trouble down loading
it and computer freezing up. Well maybe your new site provider will be
better and provide you with more bandwidth to allow your site to handle
so many hits. Did you ever make contact with any aliens other then Darla
for that might have gotten your site targeted. Keep up the good work and
let us know of your progress.
