"More fundamentally, quantum mechanics predicts that vacuum energy can
never be exactly zero. The lowest possible energy state is called the
zero-point energy and consists of a seething mass of virtual particles
that have brief existence. This is called vacuum fluctuation. While
most agree that this represents a significant part of particle physics,
it is a concept that would benefit from a deeper understanding than
currently available. Vacuum fluctuations may also be related to the
so-called cosmological constant in the theory of gravitation, if indeed
this entity were to be observed in nature on a macroscopic scale. The
best support for vacuum fluctuations is the Casimir effect."
so there is still a lot up for debate clearly

'Vacuum' is such an unfortunate word.
It is just another aspect of the universe.
The universe is made of the same unit, I call Bion, at the Planck level.
The universe is also self similar.
It expands because it gets fed by the mother universe, since it is a black
hole.

It is made of nothing, but there is a lot of loose stuff running around in

"Nothing" is the classical vaccuum - a volume containing no matter, no
energy, no fields.
The quantum vacuum is loaded with quantum fluctuations of magnitude
and duration dictated by Heisenberg uncertainty,
/_\(energy)/_\(time). You can measure the evanescent contents - Lamb
shift, electron anomalous g-factor, vacuum Rabi oscillations...

Spaces consist of time intervals.
The ONLY thing that can be measured between
a cause and an effect is an interaction time.
1. Events are the quanta of reality.
Events happen.
2. Man's hippocampus hardwires him to correlate.
3. Correlations associated with a single point
(Auto-correlations) are time periods.
The particular auto-correlation selected
to provide time events (Ticks) is what is known as time.
4. Correlations associated with a two points
(Cross-correlations) are time intervals.
One point is called the cause or start point,
and the second pont is called the effect or end point.
Time intervals are fundamental spaces.
Einsteins rulers are nasty bending sensitive, pressure sensitive,
temperature sensitive, distance sensitive, velocity sensitive,
acceleration sensitive, comtamination prone beasts.
The only true measures of space are cross-correlations.
(Time intervals that correlate.)

I say Aether its the substance of
everything. If space is made from
motion that motion has to be
greater than anything that can
move in it. Thats the speed of
light. Catch up to it and space
shrinks.
Dynamic dimensions.
And Roger Penrose is right!

Dark energy is 0 wavelength at c.
Photons pass us at c from outside the visible universe . Space is
energy under presure insde the visible universe nd outside .
As matter orbits the center of the atom it takes up space ,,and more
space in motion at c wile space must close its gap at c .

"What is empty space made of?" is an oximoron, IMO. Space (distance)
is an illusion. At best, it is an abstract construct. It certainly
can't be made of anything, especially if it's empty. Now if you had
asked "what does space (as in volume) contain?", that would have been
a more sensible question.
In nature, there exist only particles, their properties and their
ineractions. According to my hypothesis, space is filled with
wall-to-wall energetic particles. Photons, to be exact. It's an
extreme amount of energy. They give rise to all electromagnetic
phenomena.
But more importantly, without the photons, there would be no motion at
all. Contrary to what physicists maintain, everything is causal,
including motion. Nothing moves for no reason at all, as if by magic.
Unless, of course, you practice voodoo physics.

The question is semantically silly. Consider what the word "empty"
means.
'Empty space' does have properties, but as far as we know, it's not
composed of anything.
Note that the universe is not required to conform to your views.

Dark energy is 0 wavelength at c.
Space is energy under presure.
Photons from outside the visible universe pass us at c with 0
wavelength .
BUT empty space is behind a nuetron electron or proton orbiting the
center at c wile empty space must close up behind it at c .

footballd..., you will get a variety of answers from those who frequent
this ng, and at least one who will say it's made of nothing even though
you have said correctly that is absurd.
There is an answer which is basic, and that is that it is absolute
space which has been polluted with the contents of the BB. Absolute
space is defined as space devoid of anything in it, thus, knowing about
so-called "quantum fluctuations" and Dark Matter, too, it is obvious
space was once devoid of anything in it, but not anymore.
