Object: What on Earth?
To get you started, some easy ones:
What on Earth is this at N28 30' 00", W 80 32' 40" ?
What on Earth is this at N40 45' 18", W 74 00' 18" ?
What on Earth is this at N26 53' 30", W 82 17' 00" ?
Now a harder one:
What on Earth is this at N44 48' 30", E 50 37' 48" ?

1) What is this?
2) Some kind of quote of some post?
Clarification:
Something you want us to believe you invented?
Something you found somewhere?
Something you want to tell us?
Something you want to tell us something about?
Something you forgot to delete when you started?
3) An introduction to the ***** you produce later on?
4) ***** that you expect someone will bother reading?
Clarification:
The '*****' in question 4 is a reprise of the '*****' in
question 3. This is what we call a 'style figure'.
Didn't they teach you to write English in Belgium?
How old are you?

Very close, it is in fact a launchpad.

I'm using Google Earth, BTW, not maps.

I don't know what it is, that's why I'm asking.
This actually makes a good family game, one can give a feature then start
at 30 miles altitude, zoom down gradually and see who recognises it first.
It must be a feature of note, though.
You cannot choose a car, for example, or someone's yard.
This will not be on a map: N37 24' 55.5" W122 03' 51"
but is worthy of note.
Your turn.

Ok.. so now we know there can be slight errors, like 43 arc seconds
per century for the precession of longitude of perihelion of Mercury,
which is an excellent result for Newtonian mechanics and a *****-poor
one from Einstein leaving out Jupiter.

Water comes from the sky. I've seen it. I've never seen it defy
gravity and go up again, either, so in a few more years the green
tords will all be drowned like Gawd did to Noah in 40 days and
50 nights when he made the oceans. Or was it 50 days and 40 nights,
I fergit? Anyway, build a farm on a boat and save all the animals
(for food, I'm partial to steak, bacon and eggs). If you want
to terraform Mars, take some clouds with you (preferably from
Britain, we have too many)

| Looks like a wind tunnel facility to me.

flight simulator there back in '85.
But what is the mobile object at N37 24' 55.5" W122 03' 51" ?

N37 24' 54.22" W122 03' 50.5"
A U2 spy plane looks nothing like a shuttle. :-)
It's a real one, too. I saw it take off and climb like a shuttle.
