Object: All-In Raises in LHE
Suppose there are three players left in a 10-20 LHE game. On the flop
Player1 bets allin for $8, Player2 calls the $8, and Player3 raises: does
Player 3 raise to $16; and do the raises continue in increments of $8 or
can Player $3 raise directly to $20? Thanks for any help.

I believe player 3 raises $10 to $18. The limit is still $10, so 3 can call
$8, but if raising, has to follow the structure.

Player3 raises to $18, and Player2 can then reraise to $28. The bet size
does not change.
The only slightly tricky case is when Player3 has already acted, and
Player1 raises all-in. Rules vary regarding whether Player3 is now allowed
to reraise. The most common rule is the half bet rule. From
http://www.diamondcs.net/~thecoach/RobsPkrRules3.htm:
"In limit play, an all-in wager of less than half a bet does not reopen
the betting for any player who has already acted and is in the pot for all
previous bets. A player facing less than half a bet may fold, call, or
complete the wager. An all-in wager of a half a bet or more is treated as
a full bet, and a player may fold, call, or make a full raise. (An example
of a full raise is on a $20 betting round, raising a $15 all-in bet to
$35)."
