Libertarian Party of New York Wikipedia article |
What is this? Bonnie Scott had nothing whatever to do with the
Wikipedia entry, unless her screen name is Infojunkie, which I doubt.
I, Sam Sloan, spent two hours working on this, using Chris Garvey's
submission. The shell was originally posted yesterday by "Infojunkie"
but he is obviously unfamiliar with Wikipedia, because he did not use
the proper format. I added the categories and other links to form a
proper Wikipedia page.
You can verify this yourself. Just go to the site:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian_Party_of_New_York
Click on "History" and you can see that it was formed yesterday as a
stub by Infojunkie. The text was written by Chris Garvey but he did
not post it. Sam Sloan brought it up to speed. Bonnie Scott, who lives
in Vermont, had nothing to do with it.
Bonnie Scott has banned Nic and I from posting this information to the
main Libertarian Party of New York groups, so I will have to inform
the membership by posting this to other groups.

Yes, thanks to Bonnie and Chris for creating a valuable entry on WIKI that
introduces LPNY to the outside world (at least online). I'm just surprised
we didn't notice the opening before. I believe under the GNU 'copyleft'
contract the info listed on the site can be reused freely elsewhere, so
let's hope it has legs. ----Peace & Freedom, John---- On Thu Nov 03
