As usual, you've thoroughly missed the point of the discussion. Harry was
talking about the relative turnout in the Democratic primaries compared to
the Republican turnout in their primaries.

Obama has caused a lot of blacks in SC to show up and vote for him. I
think that might more have to do with Bill Clinton's attacks on Obama
than Obama. What does this have to do with Republicans?

The correct word usage here is "Democratic" not "Democrat," anymore than it
is the "Republic" party. This is just some obscure linguistic *****
chicanery that Limbaugh has been foisting on everyone. He certainly can't
win any argument on the issues.

The US has been in minor recession since last August, it's major now.
However, The real problem will be rising prices and inflation as
central banks print money in order to hold back the implosion of the
corrupt financial system.

You've got that right.
There will not be free and fair elections in the USA until people wake up to
the fact that there is more to an election than just showing up and voting.
Too many polling stations in the US are unmonitored or are under-monitored.
Just to say, "get out and vote," isn't enough. That only makes a sham of
democracy. It's necessary for enough people to FULLY participate in the
electoral process. Not only vote, but see to it that your vote is properly
and fairly counted.
Contact your local election board and become a POLL MONITOR. Put an end to
vote counting systems, (all these shenanigans perpetrated by the likes of
DIEBOLD and ESS) that are not verifiable. The people of the USA need to take
a lesson from the Orange Revolution.
http://www.theorangerevolution.com/
When you hear about election results that diverge from the exit polls, you
have to do more than just yawn. Too often, people only get as good a
government as they deserve. Fat, lazy, smug, complacent, self-absorbed
assholes who believe their country can do no wrong; deserve, and often get,
DICTATORSHIPS.

In the general election, Obama stands the better chance of garnering votes
from independents and disaffected moderate Republicans than Clinton does.
Of the two candidates, Clinton seems the more desperate and has more ego
involved. Obama can always saunter back in eight years for another shot and
only be that much more better equipped. 2008, is probably Hillary Clinton's
one and only shot at the White House. The Democratic split between Obama
and Clinton is largely a generational one.
