CBS docs forged by Bushies! |
It appears that the "forged documents" that Right Wingers used to
discredit Dan Rather, CBS, and Mary Mapes were actually forged by
a Bush Regime Operative, Roger Stone.
And homosexual "Jeff Gannon", Bush pimp for staged questions at White
House press conferences, was used to head the blame towrd Rather-CBS.
Boy, are Bush Regime operatives GOOD at lies, deception and fraud!
And the Regime's control of ALL the big media, and talk radio,
empowers them, by failing to properly investigate!

You're out of your mind.
So far you lefties have generated about FIFTY conspiracy theories
involving Bush since the year 2000.
You are just so paranoid you will believe any insane wild charge against
Bush.
Why don't you go over all the paranoid conspiracy theories about Bush,
starting with the lunacy that he stole the 2000 election, and tell us
which ones you do NOT believe in?

While this my well be true (it would follow in line with Roves tactical
approach), it does not diminish CBS's wrong in the matter. For news to
remain credible it must be objectively investigative. Had CBS been
objectively investigative they would have discovered the documents to
be forgeries themselves and not have to have been humiliated by being
proven, at the very least, major league suckers.
By pushing s false story of this magnitude they lowered themselves into
the league of phony "news" sources like Drudge and Fox.

Really?
If you ->know the story to be true, then you must have seen some
"real" documents with "real" facts. Why didn't CBS know about those
documents? Why didn't you help them out?

I rather suspected that to be the case. CBS fell right into their trap.
It made it so all AWOL talk went off the table for the rest of the election.
And make no mistake, Bush did go AWOL.

In May 1972, Bush moved to Alabama to work on a political campaign and, he
has said, to perform his Guard service there for a year. But other Guard
officers have said they have no recollection of ever seeing him there.
The documents released on Friday by the Pentagon included two faded
computerized payroll sheets showing Bush was not paid during the latter part
of 1972 and offer no evidence to place Bush in Alabama during the latter
part of 1972.

And Bush himself, in his 1999 autobiography, "A Charge to Keep," recounts
the thrills of his pilot training, which he completed in June 1970. "I
continued flying with my unit for the next several years," the governor
wrote.
But both accounts are contradicted by copies of Bush's military records,
obtained by the Globe. In his final 18 months of military service in 1972
and 1973, Bush did not fly at all. And for much of that time, Bush was all
but unaccounted for: For a full year, there is no record that he showed up
for the periodic drills required of part-time guardsmen.
Bush, who declined to be interviewed on the issue, said through a spokesman
that he has "some recollection" of attending drills that year, but maybe not
consistently.

The U.S. News analysis also showed that during the final two years of his
obligation, Bush did not comply with Air Force regulations that impose a
time limit on making up missed drills. What's more, he apparently never made
up five months of drills he missed in 1972, contrary to assertions by the
administration. White House officials did not respond to the analysis last
week but emphasized that Bush had "served honorably."
Some experts say they remain mystified as to how Bush obtained an honorable
discharge. Lawrence Korb, a former top Defense Department official in the
Reagan administration, says the military records clearly show that Bush "had
not fulfilled his obligation" and "should have been called to active duty."

'w' sez: "I continued flying with my unit for the next several years"
And Bush himself, in his 1999 autobiography, "A Charge to Keep,"
recounts
the thrills of his pilot training, which he completed in June 1970. "I
continued flying with my unit for the next several years," the
governor
wrote.
But both accounts are contradicted by copies of Bush's military
records,
obtained by the Globe. In his final 18 months of military service in
1972
and 1973, Bush did not fly at all. And for much of that time, Bush was
all
but unaccounted for: For a full year, there is no record that he
showed up
for the periodic drills required of part-time guardsmen.
Bush, who declined to be interviewed on the issue, said through a
spokesman
that he has "some recollection" of attending drills that year, but
maybe
not
consistently.

The U.S. News analysis also showed that during the final two years of
his
obligation, Bush did not comply with Air Force regulations that impose
a
time limit on making up missed drills. What's more, he apparently
never
made
up five months of drills he missed in 1972, contrary to assertions by
the
administration. White House officials did not respond to the analysis
last
week but emphasized that Bush had "served honorably."
Some experts say they remain mystified as to how Bush obtained an
honorable
discharge. Lawrence Korb, a former top Defense Department official in
the
Reagan administration, says the military records clearly show that
Bush
"had
not fulfilled his obligation" and "should have been called to active
duty."

%%%% If he received an Honorable Discharge he was not charged with being

It appears that the "forged documents" that Right Wingers used to
discredit Dan Rather, CBS, and Mary Mapes were actually forged by
a Bush Regime Operative, Roger Stone.
%%%% Damn good peice of work too wasn't it! :o)

As soon as Kerry earned those medals, he jumped over to Jane Fonda's
side. Bush II, on the other hand, was unwavering in his support for the
war. This wasn't a fashionable position to take, but he stuck to it.
This took the same type of courage and integrity he demonstrated as
President when he defied the French by invading Iraq. He has passed on
that same courage and integrity to his daughters who have steadfastly
resisted media pressure to enlist just for the sake of proving their
patriotism.

Yeah, draft dodging, deserting, hide-behind-daddys-skirts kids of the
rich and powerful that supported the war are Republicans. They were
chickenshit pansies back then and they are simply bigger chickenshit
bullies as adults.
Back during the Vietnam War, I never met a person that respected people
like bush that hid out in the National Guard. They were viewed as
cowards that got protection from higherups that the rest of the
population did not get.
The kids that were drafted were respected. The COs that fled to Canada
were respected. The National Guard draft dodgers never had respect.
Especially the National Guard draft dodgers that supported the war
they'd never fight in. They were nothing more than panty waisted cowards.
The Vietnam War was not a fair war. With the draft, the poor and middle
class served and draft dodging people like bush hoisted beers payed for
by their daddies. Then we have the anal cysts like Rush...

I rather suspected that to be the case. CBS fell right into their
trap.
It made it so all AWOL talk went off the table for the rest of the
election.
And make no mistake, Bush did go AWOL.

In May 1972, Bush moved to Alabama to work on a political campaign and,
he

officers have said they have no recollection of ever seeing him there.
The documents released on Friday by the Pentagon included two faded
computerized payroll sheets showing Bush was not paid during the latter
part
of 1972 and offer no evidence to place Bush in Alabama during the latter
part of 1972.

And for much of that time, Bush was
all
but unaccounted for: For a full year, there is no record that he showed
up
for the periodic drills required of part-time guardsmen.
Bush, who declined to be interviewed on the issue, said through a
spokesman
that he has "some recollection" of attending drills that year, but maybe
not
consistently.

The U.S. News analysis also showed that during the final two years of his
obligation, Bush did not comply with Air Force regulations that impose a
time limit on making up missed drills. What's more, he apparently never
made
up five months of drills he missed in 1972, contrary to assertions by the
administration. White House officials did not respond to the analysis
last
week but emphasized that Bush had "served honorably."
Some experts say they remain mystified as to how Bush obtained an
honorable
discharge. Lawrence Korb, a former top Defense Department official in the
Reagan administration, says the military records clearly show that Bush
"had
not fulfilled his obligation" and "should have been called to active
duty."

Black Elk, we all know that Bush was AWOL; that he was a deserter. The
Bush Loyalists know it, too. They're trolling you. Rove knows that Bush
deserted. That's why he set up CBS with forged documents. If any Bush
loyalist is posting to the NGs in defense of Bush's military record,
they're either too stupid to read, or they're trolling.
Of course you're correct. But your opponent(s) in this thread aren't
interested in knowing the facts. They're interested in discrediting
anyone who criticizes Bush. It's not about the message; it's about the
messenger. The trolls and Bush loyalists control the agenda by
controlling the framing of the agenda. In this case, you fell for the
trap.
If posters really want to know where the evidence is, they'll
respectfully ask, and/or they'll do their own research. Other than
that, it's a verbal abuse contest.
Respectfully,
E. K.

Hello,
By the same token, then, Kerry received medals for heroism, and, thus,
is a hero.
Is that not so, or is there some typically hypocritical twist you can
put on it?

No, he reported LINKS like you asked him for. And you are right:
Bush was not AWOL. He was a fuckin' DESERTER - AWOL over 30 days.
Of course Bush got an "honorable" discharge, with his Poppy's
henchmen in control of records. "Honorable" - MY FUCKIN' *****!
