Two US soldiers killed when roadside bomb destroys Abrams tank in Iraq
(Baghdad, Iraq-AP) Jan. 10, 2005 - Two US soldiers have died in a
roadside bombing in Baghdad that destroyed a heavy battle tank.
The military says the explosion went off as the Abrams tank was on
patrol in southwestern Baghdad. Observers say the bomb must have been
enormous to destroy the heavily armored vehicle.
In addition to the deaths, four soldiers were injured.
