Cheney Dismisses Critic With Obscenity
Clash With Leahy About Halliburton
By Helen Dewar and Dana Milbank
Washington Post Staff Writers
Friday, June 25, 2004; Page A04
A brief argument between Vice President Cheney and a senior Democratic
senator led Cheney to utter a big-time obscenity on the Senate floor
this week.
On Tuesday, Cheney, serving in his role as president of the Senate,
appeared in the chamber for a photo session.
A chance meeting with Sen. Patrick J. Leahy (Vt.), the ranking
Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, became an argument about Cheney's
ties to Halliburton Co., an international energy services corporation,
and President Bush's judicial nominees.
The exchange ended when Cheney offered some crass advice.
"***** yourself," said the man who is a heartbeat from the presidency.

Personally I'd like to know what Patrick F'ing Leahy said to deserve it.

Adding grammatically challenged to the list of your shortcomings, huh?
While both uses of the word are regrettable, Kerry used it as a verb in a a
normal conversation.
Cheney used it as an adjective in anger. Much worse. My kids get a 1 hour
detention for the first, a 1 day suspension for the second.

P.S. That was not a very Christian statement you made. You'd get a 1 day

He sponsored a bill making war profiteering (a la Halliburton) illegal.
Since Cheney is a war profiteer, arranging multiple Halliburton contracts
through his office and recieving around $100,000 dollars a year in
compensation, that hits him right where he lives.
You know, the contracts Halliburton is under investigation for shucking
the taxpayers out of millions under.

Cheney still gets pay from Haliburton. He gets it in a "blind" trust but it
will be his to spend the day he leaves office. Just what do you think he will
do if not reelected? He will be back with Hailiburton in blink. Haliburton
gave him millions on departure that he was not "qualified" by the rules. The
board of directors give him the millions anyway. He did not have enough time
to qualify for the pension. It really was a bribe. Haliburton has received
billions of dollars in non bid work since then.
Now I know why Leahy and you deserve to go "***** Your Self".
Deverve it or not it really says tons about a guy in high public office that

Cheney obviously didn't use his head when he was confronted by comrade
Leahy.
He should have shouted: "Help! The ***** attacked me!"
Then his Secret Service detail could have piled-on, kicked the living *****
out of that traitorous Democrat ***** Leahy, and dragged his miserable *****
off to a nice dank cell somewhere for a couple of weeks of well-deserved
interrogation.

A report by the Congressional Research Service undermines Vice President *****
Cheney's denial of a continuing relationship with Halliburton Co., the energy
company he once led, Sen. Frank Lautenberg said Thursday.
The report says a public official's unexercised stock options and deferred
salary fall within the definition of "retained ties" to his former company.
...
Without naming Cheney or Halliburton, the service reported that unexercised stock
options and deferred salary "are among those benefits described by the Office of

What a relief to see someone with "balls" in congress".
They usually hide behind 20 letter words.
Every single congressperson needs to be dropped into North Korea without a
passport or a parachute. And we would hope that the little nut over there is
stupid enough to keep the survivors!!!!!!
