This is as ridiculous as Dumbya's subjective decision to demolish Iraq.
Let's use the obvious example of slavery: If we had no defense, then
what is to stop other peoples from attempting to enslave us? Making an
activity illegal does not change HUMAN NATURE.
Our government was established to secure our collective rights to life
and liberty (in case you didn't know--SLAVERY tends to interfere with a
person's liberty).
Having a military is a necessary evil...DUMBYA just happens to think it
is HIS PERSONAL Department of OFFENSE.

Chemical Ali is being tried for the 1988 use of chemical weapons in
the Anfal attacks on the Kurds, committed back when Saddam Hussein
was still a client of the United States, before the first Gulf War.
