#7 1/2 birdshot at 30 yards will NOT penetrate to a man's heart |
Esp in the winter time when you're wearing thick clothes. Cheney must
have shot him at much closer ranges. This is looking more and more
like a deliberate thing. Anyway - they lied about the 30 yards so who
can believe anything they say now.?

In Texas?

The leftwing attempt to criminalize a simple accident? It
sure does look deliberate.
Anyway -

they say now.?

I don't expect a shortage of volunteers. One less psycho on
this newsgroup would be a nice change. Now where can I get a 28
gauge shotgun. And slug rounds for it? :^D
--
In 2003 a sociologist from Rutgers University named Ted Goertzel
wrote a paper in which he offered some insight into the psyche
of the left. Interesting reading:
In the 1970s, Stanley Rothman and Robert Lichter
administered Thematic Apperception Tests to a large sample of
"new left" radicals (Roots of Radicalism, 1982). They found that
activists were characterized by weakened self-esteem, injured
narcissism and paranoid tendencies. They were preoccupied with
power and attracted to radical ideologies that offered clear and
unambiguous answers to their questions. . . .
The unwillingness to offer alternatives reveals a lack of
self-confidence and self-esteem. If they offered their own
policy ideas they would be vulnerable to criticism. They would
run the risk that their ideas would fail, or would not seem
persuasive to others. This is especially difficult for anti-
capitalists after the fall of the Soviet Union. It has also been
difficult in the war against terrorism because Saddam Hussein
and Osama bin Laden are such unsympathetic figures.
Psychologically, it is easier to blame America for not finding a
solution than it is to put one's own ideas on the line.

It is warm and nasty and humid in Corpus. They were near the Central

3. If he was shot closer than 30 feet, the accident would have been
fatal.

Oh now that's a good argument. HAHA The shooting occurred at close
range so they may well have been arguing and cheney let him have it. He

Intent has little to do with a possible state of Texas charge against
Cheney!
VP Cheney did not slip and fall, there was NO accidental discharge of
the shotgun, Cheney admitted that he pulled the trigger on Mr.
Whittington. Also, there are NO accidents, as such, in Texas when
recklessness or negligence is involved in a car accident or a shooting.
If Whittington were to die, VP Cheney could possibly be cited for
"Negligent Homicide by the state of Texas," as he did not follow any of
the rules of shooting while hunting. If you do not follow the Ten
Commandments of shooting you are guilty of Wreckless Negligence! See
link below.
We need to know exactly how many shot and what size shot plus the total
weight of the shot in ounces, -- it could have been number 8 shot.
Twenty eight gauge shotgun, but what length shell.
All you have to do is pattern the shotgun at various yardage's to
determine approximately how far away Whittington was.
CNN aired a reported local expert on ballistics demonstrating the
pattern of the 28 gauge shotgun on a human sized paper target.
The barrel choke would have to be the same as Cheney's shotgun to
produce a similar pattern at 30 and other yardage's.

There was probably scrub brush in the area. I would expect that a
detailed layout of the scene should be forthcoming.

There was probably scrub brush in the area. I would expect that a
detailed layout of the scene should be forthcoming.
Doesn't matter, only an idiot or a drunk is going to shoot at a person
thinking it was a bird.
There actually was a bird, you nut. Cheney was shooting at the bird and
the guy was behind where the bird was and he didn't see him. Do you need
this made any clearer?

Yow!
Somehow I don't think Mr, Whittington is going to have much time in
future for those who, like Mrs. Armstrong, said it was his fault because
he did not follow proper protocol. As usual, blame the victim, even when
he is a dyed in the wool Repug.

Esp in the winter time when you're wearing thick clothes. Cheney
must
have shot him at much closer ranges. This is looking more and more
like a deliberate thing. Anyway - they lied about the 30 yards so
who
can believe anything they say now.?
That is if he was wearing any...maybe that's the big secret? The idiot
who
was shot was dressed in his Docker's safari series and blended? -lol
The police report says both cheney and whittington were wearing hunter
orange vests..
So they were making an effort to follow the law.
In typical Bushco fashion -- they were hand-picking the laws they follow.
Suggestion -- jay-walking on a busy street is a stupid law.
What laws didn't they follow?
Well, for starters, I believe they have already admitted that Cheney
lacked the required permits for hunting the game they were after.
So, we know they didn't have the right permits, what other corners were
they cutting?

He lacked a $7 permit but he'd paid for an expensive out of state
hunting licence. Obviously he didn't realize he needed the permit and
that's what the state is saying about it.

Expensive? I doubt Cheney is familiar with the word.

So why would you claim that he didn't have the stamp, which costs
nothing compared to the out of state licence, for purposes of being
cheap and not following the rules?

Warn't me. I'm not faulting him on a $7 stamp.

Some ballistic studies are needed.
Same load.
Same gun
Same distance
Same winter clothing.
See if it would result in similar damage.
Cheney's story sucks.
