A repost, how true it is. |
I just ran across the below post, posted only a few days after
September 11, 2001. It so clearly describes Donald Rumsfeld and others
who talk about the evil bad guys not putting up their dukes and coming
out to fight like men.
I was wondering how someone in Donald Rumsfeld's position could whine
about the enemy not fighting fair. Apparently he was talking for/to a
subgroup of Americans that don't understand the concept of war. When
you are killing people, expecting your enemy to play by the rules is
just absurd. I guess you can call your enemy evil if he doesn't play
by your interpretation of the Geneva Convention.
But seriously.

Its been so long since we've had a war I don't think there are many
real men left who understand whats about to happen in this country and
around the world. Males in America have undergone, since early
childhood, through school and on into college, sensitivity training.
They espouse the not their own opinions, but that of their teachers
and professors; a group of pacifist, liberal 'jack-buddies' with their
own agenda (making more feminine men). Colleges and universities
operate not in the real world, but that of a make-believe one where
everything has to be fair and sporting. "Your competition will always
be fair with you as long as you are [fair] with him." What a load of
hogwash.
You win in life and business by getting the upper hand and popping the
other guys bubble before he pops yours. In war you win by trickery,
subterfuge, breaking things and lots and lots of justifiable murder.
I've seen many black belts get their asses kicked in bars beause they
don't know the difference between sport karate and street fighting. I
call them 'dojo ballerina's' because they can't or won't grasp the
concept of combat, dirty fighting and guerilla warfare in which
_everything goes_..."
