Admit it Bush, you were asleep at the switch |
The pre-9/11 statements of L Paul Bremer confirm what so many other sources
have said - Bush and his team weren't paying enough attention to terror
attacks on US soil before 9/11. Bremer was extremely accurate in predicting
the attacks and how that Bush guys would react: At a McCormick Tribune
Foundation conference on terrorism on Feb. 26, 2001, Bremer said, "The new
administration seems to be paying no attention to the problem of terrorism.
What they will do is stagger along until there's a major incident and then
suddenly say, 'Oh, my God, shouldn't we be organized to deal with this?'
