invasion of a sovereign country and the occupation they got stuck

After all, the guy who pretended to be looking for bin Laden for 5
years
never made any real effort to bring him to justice. So why should they
be pleased to find him humiliated and in no position to cover up for
bin Laden as he has since 2001.
