The main trouble with liberal talking heads is they actually believe it is
possible to negotiate with Iranians.
Liberals can never start from the entirely valid position that Iran will
never negotiate anything counter to their closed-minded, and unchangeable
positions of intractable superiority to us infidels, acquiring nukes, and
precipitating the return of their 164th imam.
Liberals trust to dumb luck and optimism and the Iranians have fed them just
enough of a line of bull ***** to have them lining up to jump into the
furnace.
Iranians naturally lie, cheat, and steal. Come to think of it, the entire
population of the Middle-East lies, cheats, and steals, along with a lot of
back-stabbing and killing and hostage taking. That is the reason they can't
even get along with each other. That is all they know, so there is
absolutely no sense in attempting negotiation with any of them unless, and
until, they are the one's begging for a favor.
I think it would be very informative to all the folks who think that it is
possible to make a deal with the Iranians to gave them take up a collection
and send Alan Colmes to Tehran to open negotiations with the Iranians. He
would have a liberal blast, rack up a lot of liberal video tape playing the
fool, and in a year or so, we could remind him about how much his
negotiations actually accomplished.
Reaching out to Iranians has never been very productive.
