An investigation prompted by News 4 has led to state congressional
hearings into the deaths of three Arizona children.
The Chairman of the State House Government Committee, Kirk Adams,
officially announced today that he will hold closed door hearings on
several child deaths that followed child protective services inquiries.
At the request of another lawmaker, Adams reviewed two cases in Tucson
after the deaths of Tyler and Ariana Payne and Brandon Williams. He says
it left him with many questions.
"Three children are dead," Adams said in a prepared statement, "and I am
left with many questions about what happened after the government made
contact with the families."
The closed door hearings will be held this summer.
CURRENTLY CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES VIOLATES MORE CIVIL RIGHTS ON A
DAILY BASIS THEN ALL OTHER AGENCIES COMBINED INCLUDING THE NATIONAL
SECURITY AGENCY/CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY WIRETAPING PROGRAM....
BE SURE TO FIND OUT WHERE YOUR CANDIDATES STANDS ON THE ISSUE OF
REFORMING OR ABOLISHING CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES ("MAKE YOUR CANDIDATES
TAKE A STAND ON THIS ISSUE.") THEN REMEMBER TO VOTE ACCORDINGLY IF THEY
ARE "FAMILY UNFRIENDLY" IN THE NEXT ELECTION...
