More proof that Bush is more concerned with outsourcing American jobs than
creating American jobs.

Outsourcing accounts for less than 2% of the job losses. Get a little more
education before you decide to spew more drivel!

BUt it isnot 2% accross the board. My county and the one to the south have
lost over 1000 jobs in the last 2 months --- about 5% of the work force ---
to outsourcing of textiles and electronic components. We already had an 8%
unemployment rate because of earlier outsourcing.

Textiles and electronic components, mostly. One small call center --- the
last few American employees left --- finished its transition to India.
Statewide the unemployment rate is 6.6%, about 20% higher than the national
rate. A couple of counties south of me have unemployment rates in double
digits, Fairfield County, to the northwest of the state capitol, f. ex., has
a 13.3% rate. About 12 of the 46 counties here have double digit
unemployment with a half dozen more woth rates over 9% - mostly small, rural
counties where the major employer left the country.
http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layouthtmls/swzl_unemployment_SC.html#UnempRate
One of the remaining major employers in the northwest of the state is
expanding. More than 1500 people showed up for 100 night shift jobs paying
$8 - $10 and hour.
Strangely, Bush carried the state and those counties, in particular,
overwhelmingly.

The person making the statement 2 percent is either a liar or planted
globalist. For 25 years I have heard different lies from these people. In the
1980 the cry was we need to get leaner and then we will have work. The
companies cut half the work force than they outsourced the other 1/2.

*****. I work in a building that probably has 25 percent Indian workers.
It has been my experence in busines after business. I am one of the very few
consultants left. All the computer work has been outsource. I would suspect
in the computer industry that over 80 percent of the industry has been
outsourced.
Why tell someone to get more education when they only have to go against a
person with a master degree in India making $8,000 a year.
BTW were did that 2 percent come from?

Airbus is outsourcing to the USofA. I sure hope not one
American applies for any of those jobs coming here!
