Homeland Security officials unveiled a plot by terrorists disguised as
store mannequins in malls in California. Authorities announced that
they thwarted the plot after intercepting communications between
mannequins in Westminster, CA and others overseas.
Homeland Security officials say the plot for mannequin terrorists to
attack Americans in retail malls was foiled after an Westminster woman
alerted authorities of an alleged run-in with a store mannequin that
she says left her with a cracked tooth, a bloodied head and recurring
shoulder pain.
Diana Newton, 51, Westminster, Calif., claims she was cracked in the
head by a legless female dummy at its Westminster Mall store. Newton
said the incident happened in the women's department as she was
shopping for a blouse. The only one in her size was on the mannequin.
As a salesclerk was removing the garment, the dummy's arm struck
Newton's head and yelled "Allah Akbar!", according to her signed
statement.
Homeland Security stormtroopers encircled the mall. and after receiving
no response to repeated demands for the molded Islamofascist to
surrender peacefully, a SWAT team was sent in to subdue the mannequin.
White House spokesman Tony Snow issued a press statement claiming that
the this foiled threat proves that the Bush administration's curtailing
of Americans civil rights is working.
