There may be a cultural issue here. In the Muslim faith there is no
hierarchy with someone clearly at the top, as say the Pope for the
Roman Catholics, to who you would look for a statement.
Yes there is, in Iraq there is one Shiite leader above all others. This is
the same in \all Muslim countries. They each have a top leader.
Yet none of these have appeared on Al-Jazeer to denounce the Terrorist that
say they ack for Allah.
Of course there may be muslim religious leaders who would rather not
incur the wrath of their flock by criticizing terrorist actions.
They must not have to conviction of their faith if they are afraid to speak
against the Muslim Terrorists or maybe they really support them.
