Anyone else read "Rogue State" by william Blum? |
Talks about all the horrible things the american govt has done both
domestically and internationally over the years. Most startling is
that the book was written in 1999!!!! The road to tyranny and
terrorism in america did NOT start with bush in 2001 as many seem to
think. Been going on for decades.

Washington is ABOUT lying to Americans; always has been, always will
be. Stuff like the Tuskeegee syphilis experiments (keeping black men
infected with syphilis without their knowledge to study syphilis) was
done in the 1900s - before Bush even was born.

You mean our support for the coup removing Mossadeq from office in
Iran in 1953, because he wanted to cancel an extremely lucrative oil
contract with a British firm,
was interference with their internal affairs?
You mean if an Iranian group supported a coup to remove President Bush
from office - some hotheads in the US might want to fight back?
Especially if the Iranians had done similar things constantly for
decades? Such as militarily invading and taking over Canada on false
pretenses that Canada was going to kill them with WMD?
no.
How can that be?
How can you claim that we were on a road to terrorism?
How could anyone in the middle east think that they are justified in
striking back for such things?
And how could anyone here get mad were they to back a coup
overthrowing our elected President?
They have every right to overthrow President Bush.
Just as we had every right to overthrow Mossadeq in 1953, every right
to invade Iraq, etc.
