Bill O'Reilly Seeks Culture Warriors |
Bill O'Reilly Seeking Culture Warriors? Do You Measure Up?
O'Reilly's book, Culture Warrior, is coming out this month and he's trying
to generate interest with his usual divisive tactics. Last night he
announced a quiz on his website that would give people an idea of the book's
concepts. Just answer 5 questions and find out if you're a "culture
warrior", like Bill, or a "secular-progressive" hell bent on destroying
America.

I hear the age limit to be a culture warrior has been raised to 72, just to
accommodate republican demographics.

I first thought this was a spoof but THEN I went to the O'Lielly web
site... this serial liar, sexual molester and drunken old ***** thinks
he's a "culture warrior"... rotflmao... .. I think the booze has finally
rotted away the odd live neuron still scuttling about in o'lielly's empty
skull... it's hilarious...
rotfl...
But you have to remember that although your average FUX viewer has a
chronological age of 71 they have a mental age of about 4... as they say
"you don't HAVE to be senile to watch FUX, but it helps"

Again the left resorts to name calling and denigration to distract
people from the real issues that face this country. Instead of assuming
that FOX viewers are senile 71 year olds, why don't you dispute the
points he makes with logic, facts and respect for differing viewpoints.
I, myself, am a conservative but I am willing to listen to other's
views. You as a progressive have a right to your views as do I. The
difference here is that while I may not understand how you could think
the way you do, I still respect the fact that you are perfectly
entitled to your views, while most progressives I've met or read will
stoop to name calling if you do not agree with their views. Why is it
that the so-called "party of tolerance" is so intolerant of viewpoints
which differ from their own?
Please, if you choose to respond to this, let's keep it at an adult
level of civility.

Bill and his primary audience are waxing nostalgic for the McCarthy
era, arguably one of the most un-American eras in our history. The real
America is the America built on progressive and liberal ideas. The Bill
of Rights is best described as a liberal manifesto, and is arguably the
single most important thing that defines America and makes America
great.
