If is obvious that ill-bred neocons like you are grasping at straws
after
how badly the Bush administration has discredited itself lately.
Think
* Florida
Dems proved that their constituents are too stupid to know how to
properly
vote, tried to blame the Republicans on it to cover their own
ineptitude.
What a moron Stanley is! Experts in useability and graphics design
have stated that the "butterfly ballot" was were confusing,
It was designed by a DEMOCRAT, dipshit!
Theresa LePore
AKA Theresa A LePore
Born: c. 1955
Gender: Female
Religion: Roman Catholic
Ethnicity: White
Sexual orientation: Straight
Occupation: Government
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: Mastermind behind the butterfly ballot
Theresa LePore gained international notoriety in November 2000 in her role
as supervisor of elections for Palm Beach County, Florida. It was Palm Beach
voters who reacted so poorly to her infamous "Butterfly Ballot" which
presumably siphoned thousands of votes from Al Gore and gave them to Pat
Buchanan. Florida Congressman Rob Wexler: "I think it's fair to say Theresa
LePore's mistake resulted in the wrong man becoming President."
LePore's entire working career has been spent in the Palm Beach County
election office. She began working there when she was a 16-year-old high
school student. Seven years later, she rose to the position of chief deputy
of county elections. She won election to her current post in 1996 and ran
unopposed in 2000.
Despite having been a registered Democrat herself in 2000, LePore sustained
seemingly-inexhaustible abuse from Gore supporters ever since the election.
"I'm still getting hate mail. I'm still getting death threats." They seem to
hold LePore personally responsible for Bush's perceived misdeeds, and they
vent their frustration by blaming it all on her:
a.. "I've got the blood of over 500 men and women on my hands, because the
war's my fault."
b.. "Nine-eleven was my fault."
c.. "I should be tried for treason, I don't care about democracy, blah
blah blah."
A Democrat, LePore has no regrets about the butterfly ballot design. "I
don't feel guilty. I did what I thought was best at the time. [...] I did it
for a reason. Hindsight's 20/20. I'm sorry people were confused."
Furthermore: "The voters get the blame for not following instructions. I
physically cannot be at every machine to see that the voters are following
instructions."

and having
less accurate equipment in the poorer (and possibly more Democratic)
parts of a state creates a bias in favor of the other party.
Wild-***** speculation on the part of partisan hacks - talk about flogging a
dead horse...
Demanded a recount but wanted to cherry-pick the locations to be
recounted
AND wanted to "interpret" ...
Now that is a bald-faced lie. Al Gore specifically stated that he wanted
certain precincts recounted but would accept any additional districts
that Bush would have wanted recounted as well.
The Court didn't see it that way...
Both Bush and Clinton were informed by a CIA run by a Clinton-era
appointee
that there were WMD's in Iraq, and information from foreign intelligence
More misdirection from Stanley (it doesn't matter who appointed the guy
but rather how accurate the intelligence was), and note the evasion of
the fact that prior to the invasion, we had Hans Blick's team checking
everything out (something Clinton didn't have).
Clinton said there were WMD's. Was he lying or not? If you say no, what's
your excuse?
BTW, while it would be natural to assume that Saddam had WMD due to him
not letting weapons inspectors in, did it occur to you that he might have
thought it to be advantageous if others in his region thought he had
nuclear weapons?
Yes, and that would mean that he engaged in a deliberate deception effort.
So Bush didn't lie after all, right?
