BU$H'S KATRINA DEBACLE - FIRST ANNIVERSARY APPROACHING FAST! |
Yup. It's true. The first anniversary of Bu$h's Katrina debacle is
approaching fast -- next weekend!
Let's not forget that Bu$h folded FEMA into Homeland Security and cut
FEMA's budget. (Homeland Security claimed responsibility on its own
web site for handling major natural disasters!)
Let's not forget Bu$h standing beside FEMA's Brown and exclaiming,
"You're doing a heckuva job, Brownie!" (Both of them had their sleeves
rolled up so it'd look as though they were working.)
Let's not forget that engineers say that the levees really haven't been
rebuilt well and cannot withstand a Category 5 hurricane! (How did the
feds waste the last year and billions of dollars?)
IN SHORT, LET'S NOT FORGET KATRINA AS ONE OF MANY IN A LONG LINE OF
BU$H CLUSTERFUCKS!!!
Gospel.

And the NO mayor, Nagin, was re-elected. Go figure. The problem starts at
home.

The problem started with the feds. Their "assistance" was so unorganized,
so poor that every one of them should have been fired. There were news
crews there before the feds. Its the federeral responsiblilty to help and
they provided nothing. Not a thing.
You on the far right want to yell about Mayor Nagin and forget that your
pres and staff screwed everything up including appointing Brownie.

Incorrect. The locals should act quickly, the
state next ... and the feds only if those gov't
agencies are too inept to cope.

Incorrect. The responsibility is the local
and state first.

I am certainly not happy with the job Bush
has done as president. But that doesn't blind
me to the inept officials in LA. There are many
leftists who cannot see the true problems because
they are too busy trying to pin every problem on
Bush. Sad.

How the heck were the locals going to act, the hurricane had destroyed every
thing. No water, no food, everything was gone. The feds did nothing, zero.
After bringing generators to light our pres. way when he arrived they packed
them up and took them back.
