liberal vs conservative or left vs right?

There is absolutely no question that the recent US-backed Israeli attack
on Lebanese Christians and Druze strengthened the hand of Hezbollah and
deepened the hatred that most Arabs and Muslims justifiably feel for the
US and Israel. And note that I said the hatred, the feeling, is
justified, not acts of terror directed against civilian targets in
reprisal for those policies. But the stupidity the Bush administration
shows by strengthening the hand of extremist entities has nothing to do
with its being Republican. Democrats have shown exactly the same
stupidity over decades. Clinton's actions in Somalia and bombing an
aspirin factory in Sudan also contributed to this hatred.
