All sorts of impeachable crimes and misdemeanors of the George WMD Bush
Administration are certain to be revealed over time.
One of the lesser scandals I'm looking forward to is when it's revealed that
agents are dispatched to Crawford, Texas after every Shrub vacation...to
plant more brush.
I read a piece originally published a while back in a local Texas paper that
interviewed ranchers from the country around Dumbya's spread. Clearing
brush is a valid and necessary duty on such ranches, but way low on the list
of priorities. And most ranchers who are making a living off the land hire
it done from minimum wage laborers; duty Shrub is, at long last, qualified
for.
Clearing brush at Crawford is so painfully obvious a ploy to imitate Ronald
Reagan's ranch work in California. Except Reagan used an honest-to-goodness
axe, not a chain saw, to work his land. Reagan had actually done some ranch
work -- building fences around the property -- before he became President,
before anyone was watching. George WMD Bush, as his neighbors, hired
illegal Mexican workers to clear brush on his place until he started running
for the presidency.
Apparently there are Shrub-worshippers who somehow think Shrub's escapades
at clearing brush somehow connect to the quality of his leadership
abilities. By that measure, there are about 300,000 illegal Mexican workers
in Texas who are just as qualified as Shrub to be President of the United
States. Not a one of them could possible do a worse job at running the
country, including mastery of the English language.

Amen to that.

In article <mntgr1tejj2iokllsop7h6c6daqftb0ie8@4ax.com>, Harry Hope took
the hamburger, threw it on the grill, and I said "Oh wow"...
