Air Force Officers Join Lawsuit

Four Air Force officers have joined a lawsuit alleging
senior Air Force Academy officers and cadets imposed
Christianity on others at the school.
The lawsuit in U-S District Court in Albuqerque, New Mexico,
was filed by academy graduate Mikey Weinstein.
Four second lieutenants who graduated last year,
including Weinstein's son, joined the lawsuit this week.
Following complaints of intolerance, the Air Force this year
proposed guidelines on religious conduct,
prompting 70 House members to ask President Bush for an
executive order protecting the right of military chaplains to
mention Jesus in prayers.
Weinstein says he will add Bush to the list of defendants
if Bush issues an executive order permitting chaplains to
proselytize.
