Bush proposes $1.4 trillion in new tax cuts for the rich |
From MSNBC, 2/7/05:

Bush proposes new tax cuts
WASHINGTON -
The budget blueprint submitted to lawmakers would reduce money flowing
from taxpayers to the federal government by $1.4 trillion over a
decade.
It includes not only new tax cuts, but also proposals to simplify some
tax laws and stem tax evasion.
The single biggest change -- making the tax cuts passed during Bush’s
first term permanent reductions -- would cost $1.1 trillion.
Those laws reduced taxes on wages, investment income and inherited
estates.
The president would also extend, for a 10-year total of $73 billion,
various temporary tax breaks for businesses.
The budget does not include any proposal to address the alternative
minimum tax, a levy aimed at wealthy individuals that has started to
hit some middle-class families.

What was the amount of that last Bush budget deficit? $427 billion?
Well, you ain't seen nuthin' yet.

Bush is a crook where he allows the rich to NOT pay their fair share of
taxes to pay for government programs like Social Security, Health care etc.
Impeach the crooked President Bush and his corporate henchmen.

Bush never met a rich man or corporation who he thought was
undeserving of a government handout. But them po' folks are another
story. As all rich folks know - especially those like Bush, who
inherited his name and wealth - the poor are poor because they are
lazy.
