Bush Ratings At All-Time Low - 30%.
While the nutcase loudmouths on the far right will continue to bleat their
FOX-mandated talking points, the collective polling numbers speak for
themselves. You can check out the results of *every* poll done on GWB's
approval rating at Professor's Pollkatz's site (http://www.pollkatz.com/).
The Approval/Disapproval Spread

pretty clearly shows Bush's unpopularity:
* Ever since Katrina hit, Bush's popularity rating has been underwater in
every nationwide poll;
* While the latest CBS poll is on the low end of the spread, CBS (the pink
squares) clearly does not always "Bash Bush" -- usually they are in the
middle of the spread;
* Several other polls (AmResGp, Zogby, Harris) has shown Bush at similarly
dismal levels (~35%) over the past three months;
* Finally, our buddies over at "fair and balanced" FOX News seem to
consistenrly give the Prez a higher rating than *everyone* else. Of course,
the bias in the FOX newsroom should be obvious to everyone by now ...
Spin all you want, folks. Statistically speaking, patriotic Americans hate
Bush's lying guts, 58.5% to 40%. And personally, my bet is that the polls
taken in the next few weeks will tend to confirm CBS's poll, and drive these
aggregate numbers down even further.
