Bush to push marxist redistribution of wealth plan! |
I heard on the news about President Bush's new health care proposal, which
he will put forth in his State of the Union speech tonight.
He plans on suggesting more marxism:
"From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."
- Karl Marx
He wants to add a tax to the health insurance of people who have it, and
redistribute their wealth to people that don't have it.
"From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."
And to think, they used to call him a conservative. Whew.

WTF? Taxing health insurance? How is it going to do any good to add more of
a tax burden onto the middle class? And just how much money is this
actually going to raise? This is a totally fucked-up scheme.
Fortunately, I am pretty sure that the current congress won't let this plan
see the light of day. Thank gopod the adults are back in control of the
hill.

Relax.
This is just another tax gift to the wealthy scheme.
Wealthy families will shift to high deductible, low premium plans and tax
free HSA's and HRA's.
This will give them a double tax break.
The low cost health plans will earn them a tax credit, and the HSA's are tax
exempt.
Middle class taxpayers with employer paid insurance who cannot afford to
sock thousands a year into a HSA will see their taxes go up.
The uninsured will remain uninsured.
And the sick, who pay high premiums because they are sick, will get hosed.
Good ole rightard politics as usual.
