illegal aliens) Bush has thrown the whining Democrats into yet another
tizzy. By adopting policies long sought after by Hispanics (but never

away from the Democrats! And, in the process, he will thus take Hispanic

I'm not so sure I'd be crowing about this. I have voted republican since
Reagan first ran but Bush couldn't buy my vote after this.
1. There is no way this will make the US safer!
2. What's to keep employeers from keeping the salaries for their job posting
rediculously low so they can't fill them with US employees?
3. What mechanism will be in place to make sure that unemployed illegal
aliens are deported?
This new plan blows a huge hole in Homeland security after all there is
nothing to stop illegals from continueing to pour in even after Bush's
amnesty program, hell there is nothing to stop illegals at all in his plan.

I have called the White House many times leaving messages of my discontent
with this, L-1 and H1-b visas. The fact is neither party wants to take
responsibility for the mess they have created, which is evidenced by their
movements of late. While Bush is here planning to give amnesty to those who
are in our country illegally a Democrat delegation is in India trying to
sell out American works and we all set here and choose sides like it doesn't
matter. Well it does matter and if we want our country to remain a leader we
need to enforce our laws not give up when the job becomes to big. I say it's
time for a third party!
By the way simply claiming someone is a democrat or republican doesn't make
our problems go in fact it makes them worse because it gives cover to those
elected officials who are destroying our nation all for the sake of
generating campaign contributions. I think it's time for Americans to speak
up before our country is lost to special interest. Let me give you an
example, what is the difference between what Bush has just suggested an what
Grey Davis did with Drives licenses in California, both are damaging but
Bushes act is more damaging because it destroys the nations economy and not
just California's. We must hold every body equally accountable regardless of
party. This has been my message all along simply look up my discussions
concerning IndiaPAC and the members on their caucus page and you'll find
that I have been more damming of Democrats because they pose as the only
friends to working class American but their membership in IndiaPAC
outnumbers republicans. We cannot condemn actions of members of one party
then excuses equally damaging actives for individuals because they are in
our party because our nation is under attacked physically and economically
and there is not time to pick and choose which traitors we are going to
tolerate and which we will not. Like Bush said they are either with us, the
American people or they are with them the foreign interest.

Rove tactic #3: Pander to the hispanic community and drive down wages.
Propose an immigrant "temporary" work program that is in effect amnesty for
illegal immigrants. This was a bold Rove move, proving his sense of
desperation. Bush never had the labor union vote, so he loses nothing here.
But this move stands to draw some hispanic democrats to the Bush camp. Bush
had very little of the hispanic vote, now he will gain some with this ploy.
The second, more predominant motivation, was to accelerate the process of
driving down wages in America. I rarely agree with Pat Buchannan, but I
will paraphrase his example here:
Let's say there's an established car wash business somewhere, that has been
making a decent profit and paying its American workers $8/hour. Bush's law
passes. Now another person opens up a car wash down the street, advertises
the same jobs for $5/hour. No Americans apply. So he now is allowed to use
Mexican workers for $5/hour, charge slightly less for a car wash and make a
great deal more profit. Result: the $8/hour car wash goes out of business,
and the prevailing wage for people who work in car washes goes down to
$5/hour.
Hispanic people who live in America legally would suffer greatly from this
law. But a significant number of them will not see this, because they will
be blinded by the thought that this law will allow them to bring their
relatives here.
This law helps ONLY business owners. It hurts all who live on a paycheck.
In other words, it's another typical Bush administration move.

With his latest brilliantly-conceived announcement (his policy concerning
illegal aliens) Bush has thrown the whining Democrats into yet another
tizzy. By adopting policies long sought after by Hispanics (but never
delivered by the Democrat Party) President Bush has taken YET ANOTHER

away from the Democrats! And, in the process, he will thus take Hispanic

Look for an important Bush announcement concerning school choice vouchers

the coming months, since THAT one will take black votes away from the

President Bush is slowly but surely gutting and fileting the hapless
Democrat fish, who lays there on the plank, walleyed, while Bush runs his
filet knife over it with a huge smile.....

He might have. It's hard to say. I rather doubt that he has much of that
left after his latest move. Not to mention his general economic activities.

This little ploy may backfire by losing some of the "Nascar Dads" in the
red states. Only need to pick up FL, Ark., or Tenn., and a certain
generalisimo can pull that off. Then its bye-bye Hallibuddies!

It might not go all that well with the former Mexicans in this country. Bush
just about made them forever in danger of being replaced with a cheaper cousin.
