Carla J. Martin Helps Government Torpedo Moussaoui 9/11 Case |
*Judge in Moussaoui Case Imposes Sanctions
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) -- Faced with a major setback in their
death penalty case against a confessed al-Qaida conspirator,
prosecutors are considering whether to appeal a judge's decision to
bar witnesses who were improperly coached by a government lawyer.
U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema delayed the trial of Zacarias
Moussaoui until Monday to give prosecutors a chance to sort out
their options.
======
No question that, from the arrest of Zacarias Moussaoui four-and-a-half
years ago(!), the U.S. government couldn't risk a complete revelation
of facts in the case of the 9/11 terrorist. Martin, 51, a longtime
Transportation Security Administration lawyer, who unquestionably knows
better, deliberately shared testimony and improperly communicated with
seven crucial aviation community witnesses.
The main questions are: Who put her up to this egregious act? Why?
Insiders have known for some time that top-level federal officials
stand to be pilloried and possibly criminally charged with mal-, non-
and misfeasance in office should the extent of government misconduct
and inaction be revealed during Moussaoui's trial. The FBI, CIA,
Defense Department, TSA, and FAA, plus commercial air firms, stand to
be held to additional blame for allowing the 9/11 attacks -- if their
criminal actions are bared by the facts.
Martin's actions have put a hold on this case, which was incredible
before her misconduct.
Time will tell if and why she became a sacrificial lamb for the folks
who failed U.S. citizens most miserably during the Sept. 11, 2001
catastrophe.

Carla J. Martin almost certainly was acting on instructions from the
Bush administration -- top-rung people, no less.
There's no way the CIA, FBI, NSA, and especially the FAA could allow
the FAA witnesses to testify. With FBI Agent Harry Samit giving such
damaging testimony about his fruitless efforts to get the hapless FBI
country-clubbers to heed pre-9/11 warnings, Bush people knew U.S.
citizens could not stomach further revelations of malfeasance from
representatives of yet another organization whose job it is to protect
America.
Martin will eventually be unmasked as a sacrificial stooge for not just
the FAA, but the entire federal intelligence community.
A longtime government lawyer who knows better than to do what she did,
Martin is refusing to give any explanation for her traitorous actions
and is hunkering with attorneys to prepare for criminal charges.
