Over the past two years, scores of highly regarded individuals have
gone public to express their serious doubts about 9/11. These include
former presidential advisor and CIA analyst Ray McGovern, the father
of Reaganomics and former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury Paul
Craig Roberts, BYU physics Professor Steven Jones, former German
defense minister Andreas von Buelow, former MI5 officer David Shayler,
former Blair cabinet member Michael Meacher, former Chief Economist
for the Department of Labor during President George W. Bush's first
term Morgan Reynolds and many more.
Speaking to The Alex Jones Show on the GCN Radio Network, the star of
current hit comedy show Two and a Half Men and dozens of movies
including Platoon and Young Guns, Sheen elaborated on why he had
problems believing the government's version of events.
Sheen agreed that the biggest conspiracy theory was put out by the
government itself and prefaced his argument by quoting Theodore
Roosevelt in stating, "That we are to stand by the President right or
wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable
to the American public."
"We're not the conspiracy theorists on this particular issue," said
Sheen.
"It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four
commercial airliners and hitting 75% of their targets, that feels like
a conspiracy theory. It raises a lot of questions."
Sheen described the climate of acceptance for serious discussion about
9/11 as being far more fertile than it was a couple of years ago.
"It feels like from the people I talk to in and around my circles, it
seems like the worm is turning."

Maybe Cheney and Bush knew or should have known about the attack but it
just isn't a big deal to hijack a plane and fly it into a building and
kill a lot of people.
Bush & Cheney should be impeached for hyping a basically small event as
being just like WWIII.

There's been a lot of people in this thread that focus on the
credibility of Sheen, Jones, or others. This perspective explains why
many people are so resistant to these ideas. Having a focus where
others to tell you what to believe and what not to believe allows
information to be suppressed and denies one own responsibility for
finding what is true or untrue.
The only way to really have your own opinion on the matter is to do
your own research. I doubt many who accept the official story have
bothered (and listening to Limbaugh does not constitute research). Of
course this may mean to take on the title of 'kook'. But I wonder how
many are interested in the truth and how many are just interested in
ridicule.
There is a mountain of evidence that pokes giant gapping holes in the
official story. One just has to take a look for themselves.
The credibility is in the facts, not in the various people who make
claims.

course this may mean to take on the title of 'kook'. But I wonder how
many are interested in the truth and how many are just interested in
ridicule.
There is a mountain of evidence that pokes giant gapping holes in the
official story. One just has to take a look for themselves.
The credibility is in the facts, not in the various people who make
claims.
Since 9/11/01, Usenet, and specifically the politics NG'S, have been
infiltrated by what appears to be disinformation agents. It is, of course,
difficult to know who is a paid agent; but there are some who very well
could be (and likely are, though they'd never let on, of course). They
usually stick pretty closely to the official talking points; but they seem
to be specialized for specific topics, which makes sense given the expansive
nature of Internet/web discourse. Naturally, one of those topics is 9/11.
If you have a look at past threads on that topic, you'll notice that there
is a short list of respondents who tag-team on anyone who deviates from the
official story. Their main tactic seems to be that of simply repeating the
official lie over and over, and pointing to the MSM coverage of the official
story, including the laughable "debunking" of the 9/11 Truth movement in
Popular Mechanics and elsewhere. These disinfo agents are only good at one
thing: Watering down the truth by pandering to authority instead of
sticking to observable facts. When it comes to actually providing real facts
to back up *any* of their assertions, they fall back on the official reports
and threadbare evidence that "supports" them. And that's all you get. They
will *never* deviate from that simple plan. That is what piques my
suspicion that they may be paid agents, because they have a simple attack
plan, and the do not deviate from it.
Lately, however, I've noticed a tapering off of attacks against the 9/11
Truth postings. I suspect this may be indicative of a significant
sea-change within the GOP rank-and-file. It is certainly co-incident with
the rising fashionability in MSM to attack Dubya's views and policies. Now
that Bush Jr. is irretrievably sunk as a the most laughable President in US
history, the rank and file GOP are going to have to become turncoats in
order to have a shred of hope of keeping any seats in November. This,
course, will be much more effective if it is highly coordinated. Thus, it
may actually become fashionable to tacitly acknowledge that 9/11 may not
have been what Bush and Cheney said it was. This is a gambit with very high
stakes, and one which I'll be interested to follow to see how it pans out. I
suspect that the GOP will continue their tactic of producing copious
quantities of diverting scandals and disinformation smokescreens to keep Joe
American's eyes off the ball and onto the tabloids. They will also continue
to directly attack civil rights on all fronts (while their fanatical
Reichwing Christian Taliban base cheers them on) which has the effect of
draining the coffers of civil rights and pro-democracy groups. This is a
cunning technique, and difficult to reproduce going the other direction,
since it requires the attackers to be willing to give up their moral high
ground, as well as having the MSM in your pocket (which the GOP does, or
did). Obviously, at this point the GOP has essentially nothing to lose.
They've proven that they can have half a dozen different totally conflicting
messages in the air at once; but Americans are getting wise to it. It took
much longer than I ever imagined it would, but America is waking up. Joe
American finally realizes that the Bush Administration is the biggest
flim-flam operation this country has ever seen. Cheney makes Nixon look like
a choirboy, and Bush is little more than sideshow carny in a suit. Getting
as far afield from Bush/Cheney as possible is what the GOP will attempt to
do for the next 6 months. What they do with the rising Scholars for 9/11
Truth movement is going to be interesting. I suspect GOP strategists are
hard at work on this.
I can't wait for November, when we do some long-overdue House cleaning.

One of the biggest problems, as I see it, is in not understanding the
psychology of those who are in power. Until people realize the
psychopathic nature of those who seek and have power, nothing can be
done; it doesn't matter if we replace one 'leader' with another
as they all lead to lies, manipulation, and destruction of their own
countries as well as others.
Andrew Lobaczewski, a clinical psychologist, lived in Poland through
the Nazi rule and the Communist takeover. The result of his work in
studying 'evil' in a clinical sense is, 'Political Ponerology.'
This work of his may be, in my opinion, one of the most important
issues ever written about.
