But that seems more than just convenient to DC Democrats who
are way behind their constituents and paleoconservatives like
Scowcroft in directing any critisisms whatsoever towards the
Bush administration over treasonous lies that Congress and
the Senate signed off on.
After all, Scott Ritter told the Senate that Saddam had no such
capabilities before they voted for the resolution for war in Iraq.

Vice President Cheney and his chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter"
Libby, overruling advice from some White House political staffers and
lawyers, decided to withhold crucial documents from the Senate
Intelligence Committee in 2004 when the panel was investigating the
use of pre-war intelligence that erroneously concluded Saddam Hussein
had weapons of mass destruction, according to Bush administration and
congressional sources.
