I certainly won't vote for anyone not perceptive enough to realize
that we shouldn't be go after Saddam Hussein right at the time when we
should very much have been focusing on going after Osama bin Laden,
who attacked us! Apparently, he's been forgotten almost entirely now,
that savage who was bold enough to kill Americans right in the heart
of our greatest city.
I not only saw that this turn of focus onto Saddam was a farce and
absurd at the time we should be seeking justice for our dead, but also
realized at the time that the "evidence" used to excuse it was falsely
contrived. Any representative of the American people who did not
either see, or have the guts to do the right thing if they did see,
should not be elected to the highest office of this land. If they
would apologize, as Edwards did, then perhaps... but I'm still wary of
anyone's judgement who supported such a wrong course for our country.
I don't want someone as my leader who is less perceptive or honest
than little ol' me.
I won't vote for anyone who enabled Bush's Blunder, Democrat or
Independent or Republicon or Whig. Hillary Clinton has said that not
only was Bush right, he should have done it sooner. She has no chance
in hell of getting a vote from me in the upcoming election, despite
the fact I'd like to see a woman president.
I would hope that all Americans that care about our country and its
future would also make the record of a politician's support for the
Iraq debacle a primary factor is determining who is qualified to hold
this nation's highest office.
And, as for blaming Iraq, this is nonsense! Republicons, led by the
White House, in recent months began blaming the Iraqi people for the
hell on earth forced upon them by our Republicon-led government.
That's outrageous and absurd, yet even many Democrats are voicing the
same garbage.
And, another word to Democrats - your position that we should just
withdraw from Iraq, leaving a cesspool of devastation, blood and
turmoil that will become the true threat to America that it was not
before Bush's Blunder - well, you're wrong on this too! You can't
just walk away, both for security and moral reasons. In essense,
Republicons have assaulted millions of people and left the vulnerable
to death and misery, and, since its all done in America's name, we
cannot just now say, "Oh, well, this isn't working out to our benefit,
so, buh-bye now!" Ridiculous!!
The team of Bush and Cheney have had over three years to complete
their quick, easy taking of Iraq and to collect all the flowers tossed
in their path. It ain't happening, folks. This duo has mad bad
decision, after bad decision, after bad decision. This disastrous duo
are not capable of handling the mess they've created for us, and must
be removed from it. THAT's the proper way out.
We have to stay, but we simply cannot afford to let the dastardly duo
harm us any further. So, it's clear, that their misleadership is a
grave and present danger to us all. It's all over the headlines, but
also had been confirmed by a major, detailed report by our own
intelligence agencies. On the grounds of causing grievous harm and
danger to the American people, they have to be removed from power. We
probably don't have two more years for them to cause further danger to
Iraq, the West and America. They must be held accountable and removed
from the situation. It's the only real solution we have available to
us as a country.
Then, using better minds, we can work with the United Nations,
neighboring countries, our allies, our military leaders and our
diplomatic corps to stablize the situation and to at least stop
further deteriation.
And, only then, can we refocus back on finding and bringing that
bast#rd Osama bin Laden to proper justice!
