This is a subject which has caused me a great deal of uncertainty and
unease. There are numerous accounts of the kinds of things described in

That kind of technology going back to 1810 seems fairly far-fetched. I
won't completely reject the possibility because I have seen substantial
evidence to convince me that other seemingly farfetched assertions are more
than likely true. I would have to see the results of double blind
experiments conducted by reputable (whatever that means in the 21st
Century) researchers before I accepted any such claim.
The MK-Ultra stuff seem substantially more plausible though I remain
skeptical many of the claims in that area as well. This topic seems to tie
a lot of the various nefarious events of the past several decades together.

There is no such thing as "mind control". There are things like "advertising on
TV" where a certain product of lifestyle is depicted over and over in a
wonderfully appealing manner. But even then, a person doesn't have to believe it
or buy into it.
Drugs actually don't affect the mind, they only affect the body. Usually, drugs
act to slow the person's body down, though some drugs like meth speed the body
up. No drugs can make a person break the law or commit a crime because they only
affect the body, not a person's morals. Good morals are developed over a period
of time, by learning and seeing the beauty of how good morals grants us much
more happened, fun and much better humor.
Likewise, morals do not go away quickly. It would take years for a person with
good morals to become a dangerous criminal. It would begin with lying and
stealing small things, then over the months would move on to liking violence or
thinking amorality is "good and okay". It is a slow slide that takes years, and
does not occur unless the person chooses to get involved in immorality.
The foolish notion that a good person can suddenly become bad, and of drugs
making a person break the law, are both false claims made by the American
psychology field in an attempt to get more business, to have more people bring
their kids in for counseling.
Factual statistics show psychology counseling shows absolutely no results in
helping people obey the law or avoid committing a crime, this being because the
psychology field does not teach good morals, nor does it teach right from wrong.
A prime example of the failures of the American psychology field is the case of
Jeffrey Dahmer. He went through years of psychology counseling for alcoholism,
yet was never taught firm right from wrong, or any good morals. Often psychology
counseling actively promotes loose, lewd sexual lifestyle as being "great".
After years of choosing to slide into poor morals, lying and weird sex, Jeffrey
Dahmer killed several young men and engaged in cannibalism. Nobody with good
morals does this, nor can the psychology field with its amoral pagan atheist
teaching prevent this.
More and more people are avoiding the American psychology field along with its
complicated terms, its amoral teachings, and its basically pagan atheist
religious beliefs. Cleaning up the American psychology field is as easy as
passing federal laws to mandate such things to be taught during counseling like
honesty, good morals, manners, right from wrong, forgiveness and more. Until
those changes are required by law, many people are avoiding the field entirely
and sticking with basic good morals.
