D.E.A. and Medical Pot Laws... |
As the attached article shows; the will of the people and the right to
live your own life is up against the joke and waste of tax dollars
known as the DEA. This invention of the Nixon era that provides the
best historical evidence of the failure of U.S. drug policy and the
comedy of errors by this gang of over-powered keystone cops as their
history of Forth Amendment Rights violations continues to grow is at
best an archaic and expensive mistake and at worst another attempt to
institute a Police State by peddling fear in exchange for the high
price of the Government trying to forever protect us from ourselves.

The War on Drugs is a failure.
Drug rehabilitation is cheaper and more effective than prison. So, why
should we, the taxpayers keep on getting soaked.
Why use SWAT tactics and militarize the police for non-violent crimes?
Do we want to turn ourselves into a police state?

As to police state, I don't...you don't...many don't; but the neocons

Why should I get soaked for either one?
Drug rehabilitation is miserably unsuccessful, which means when you cut
through all the fuzzy crap, it is just a waste of money. You boys already
admit that incarceration is just as useless.
So when you look at things like a professional-grade pro-choicer, you would
have to admit that it would be much cheaper to give them a lethal amount of
whatever they play their games with, and let them off themselves.

First of all; you don't get soaked for anything. You pay the same
amount of taxes the rest of us pay...unless you are a Corporation;
which means you pay less taxes that the majority of Americans...and the
majority of our taxes go to support Corporations and the military
industrial complex.
Secondly; the majority of rehab facilities get as much in charitable
contributions as grants and operate on a shoe-string budget. The
Salvation Army is an excellent example of this and has a fantastic
reputation treating substance abuse as well as providing a return to
the community.
Finally; those of us who want to be participating members of the human
race aren't interested in the tired, hate-filled, asinine, neocon
comments like: "let them off themselves."
That mentality is the problem the majority of the human race want to
find a solution to.
Do me a favor: Don't Troll my topics until you have something to say
that is based in fact and offers something constructive. In short:
Join the Human Race.
